You guys are funny. One ref rules differently and we might have won the SB last year. 31 teams you guys would call the coaches garbage every year because they can't get it done. We had a bad year. It happens. Not Garett's fault. Do you blame Parcells for Romos fumble? By the way, drafting is all random too, Jerry has just as much luck as the rest.

Have we won a SB under JG? Let me know when we do. 8-8 was the battle cry for years now its one winning season. I don't care what 32 other teams do really.

Yeah, Jerry Jones interferes with Jason, despite the fact Jim Garrett, his father, is one of Jerry's right hand men. Jerry goes against Jason, but he hired both his brothers and started Kevin Ogletree because he was Jason's brothers per project.

I'm sure Dan Reeves was quashed because of a time reporting issue, as if Jerry couldn't have gotten another consultant to help out Jason's pathetic running game. It's not like Jerry leveraged a draft to bring Roy Williams here to help Garrett's offense. Wade wanted Chris Johnson, but since Jaaon wanted Felix they got that scrub.

But yeah, Jason has been given a bad hand... If anything Jason is a reflection of the pathetic GM'ship of Jerry....

If Garrett's the problem, why did the 15 years before him look the same?

If you don't know there's a ginormous difference in the power and authority Garrett has as opposed to Parcells and Jimmy, frankly you're not worth talking to. Continue on with your this roster is sort of like 1995 and they won it all theory.

Has JG been hamstrung roster wise? Name one player besides maybe Murray he has asked for he didn't get. Hardy shoved down his throat? Owens was shoved down Parcells. Since you can't or won't just answer questions your right I'm not worth talking to.

The point is that he has a life long back issue. He has said that. He must baby it which is why he is the only QB to take every Wednesday off to keep it from flaring up. Am I wrong about that? He has to work on stengthing his muscles to keep his back from having a reinjury. Now he has a weakened colarbone that has broken 3 times. Tell me that it won't be in his head. My point was at some point he starts worrying about reinjury vs the play. The man is human. Just because he didn't hurt his back in the 3.5 games he has played this year doesn't change the risk.

A word of wisdom, telling people they are stupid makes one look arrogant

I've been watching the posts on his clavicle. A malformed clavicle MIGHT be more susceptible to injury but these guys get the best of care and that results in a clavicle fairly well positioned to heal correctly. In ten days that bone has 90% of its normal strength. If it's comminuted and there is a mechanical reduction then it will take longer which was the case here. Once it is fixed then it takes the same mechanism of injury to repeat it. He possibly could have come back a game early but that still didn't really affect it IMO. It likely would have broken anyway by the way he fell on it.

It would be more helpful not to fall behind then force the passing game then have the OL block better.

I think his injury and/or some sedation caused some of the problems today. That and a great game plan by Car as well as some superb play by the LBers and DL.

Yes, he has been hamstrung by the talent on the roster until the last two years.

Jason Garrett followed his father around wherever he went. He came from Arena Football to the Cowboys, because his father was here.

Jason is a product of nepotism.

And Jim Garrett was a cluster F at Columbia.

Funny how Garrett had no problems firing Ryan and Jerry had no problems having Brian Stewart fired, but honers have a problem with firing Garrett.

He's the only consistent thing in this organization..

They even changed a defense from 3-4 to 4-3 for him. They even had his brothers here for him, and Garrett made one of them a passing game coordinator. They didn't fire him, but they let him look for other jobs, but they had no problems firing Skip Peete.
Linehan is here because of Garrett.. Callahan is gone because of Garrett. Dan Reeves was not here because of Garrett, not a time reporting issue.

We SUCK because of Garrett.

No that can't be true. Garrett's hands are tied.

Because we had guys like Jim Garrett and Larry Lacewell in the FO and Jim Garrett was telling Jerry Jones Drew Henson is the next Aikman..

So it's not the actual constant in the organization, it's a series of fall guys and only you have figured it out.

Well, hey...maybe you'll get your wish and Garrett will get scapegoated but if that happens, you can put the pitchfork down but don't get rid of it. You'll need it again in a couple of years.

I agree. Nepotism is a huge problem in the organization. A very huge, you can even say fat, problem.

If JG is the saviour, why does past 6 years look the same or worse as 15 years before him?

This is cute. You're trying to out think me.

Who said he was the savior? Show me that. I'm saying he's irrelevant because there are issues above him that make him irrelevant. So keep him, fire him...it means nothing if there aren't changes at the top.

And that is why no matter who the coach is, the Dallas Cowboys don't win anything any more. For 20 long years.

Laundry???

I don't understand. What's your question? Are you questioning why Laundry is on the list or what I'm referring to. In '89 when Jerry first took over the first thing he did was fire Tom Laundry and hire Jimmy Johnson. The reason why I put Laundry on this list of things I've forgiven him for is how he handled the Tom Laundry firing. Jerry was fairly disrespectful and handled that situation as an amateur. Tom Laundry was the face, heart and soul of the franchise for decades and he was kicked aside by Jerry. If I remember correctly Jerry didn't even interview him or anything. He met Laundry and in that conversation he fired him and that was it. Doesn't seem like a big deal now but at the time it was huge. Jerry disrespected an icon, or The Icon, of the Dallas Cowboys on his first couple days on the job.

Sadly he is still disrespecting the Dallas Cowboys with "his way". Jerry doesn't deserve to wear the same Star that Laundry wore.
