No it wasn't. Pay attention to the first down marker on the sidelines. There is a pylon that sits on top of the first down "arrow" mat they place on the ground.

I saw it on the 2nd Patriots play, so I know it is there.

Fans really were cheering for a division rival in October just because they were concerned about a #1 seed this early in the season
