This was a defensive game, neither offense did great, Dak played better than brees, and people still put him down??

Brees didn't play all that well so it's not like Dak was amazing. In the second half, he held on to the ball way too long, refused to throw it away and took unnecessary sacks, and nearly fumbled the game away. So yeah, people still put Dak down.

He needs to learn his job a little better. A new OC and QB coach would do wonders for him, I think.

dak outplayed drew brees tonight. no doubt he got a stiffy when he saw a wide open Michael gallup and proceeded to overthrow him. but that's just adrenaline. the move by gallup was awesome. what a shame it didn't with a td reception.

That was disappointing, but he played so well in the first half, it actually surprised me when he overthrew it. I'm just too trusting.

I don't have to live with anything just because Jerry might keep him. I see Dak for what he is. A scrub who's riding his defense all the way to a payday. Th offense had every opportunity to put this game away and the D bailed them out time and time again.

No points scored in the 2nd half, playing against the saints juggernaut offense, this defense is AMAZING. Please get them some offensive help asap. Probably the best defensive effort by this team I've witnessed over the last 20 years.

Hadn’t even put that together. Holding them to 10 in the 2nd half while leading 13-0 may be more impressive than shutting them out in the 1st half. We didn’t know it but the game was actually over at halftime.

Hats off to this defense. If not for them, we would win no games this year. Dak......needs to stop losing the ******* ball. The offense really struggled......the playcalling started getting conservative (maybe because the coaches trusted the defense) but they should stay agressive and try to get on a roll offensively from here on out. Dak needs to read the field a lot faster and throw it away if it ain't there.....these sacks and turnovers in crucial times of the game sucks ballz.....otherwise I'm buzzed and feeling good right now.

Yes offense needs more juice...and needs to keep Coop and Zeke on the freakin field at all times!

Dak played a very good first half. Hopefully he can build on that.

It's year 3. Jerry, as much as I hate to say it because I don't think he's a good GM, has built a darn good D. But Dak does nothing for this team. We can cheer at the occasional run because he gets skittish in the pocket but Dak sucks. It's disgusting to watch this level of QB play.

I'm so freaking happy. I was tired of hearing how the big bad Saints were going to roll over the Cowboys. They got punched in the mouth by the most physical team in the league today. All that high flying offense is no match for good defense.
