People defending Mazi because he's still going against starters. Okay...so he's ineffective against starters but might be okay against scrubs? Great news for the actual season when all he sees are starters.

He's had some good plays, but definitely got beat on a couple. I'm interested in seeing if we play him on early downs next to Hankins. Should limit the doubles that he faces if he does. I think Hankins because of his experience will be the NT in those sets. Not saying Mazi is getting doubled every time.

DL: Mazi is a rookie. Still needs work. Sam Williams will be better
LB: Clark has shown good speed 2 weeks in a row. Overshown injury is worrisome
S: Bell made a couple of plays again the run
CB: better hope starters stay healthy. Bland got beat UGLY early in the game

K: Will be the weakest link all year IMO

Other than the blitz where he forced a bad throw, I haven't really noticed Joseph out there.

For five months been saying posters here will need to be patient with Mazi in year 1. We still got guys jumping off buildings.

Yea, he is learning new techniques. It will be a slow process and we should see significant improvement by seasons end. If we don’t, then I will start to get concerned.
