The offseason or maybe during the week mazi should work on firing of the ball. That will help him with positioning.

Q: Not that I really want to see him play, but has Gallup just been handed the 3rd WR spot without showing anything in pre-season??? Only with this organization does that happen.

Yes.

it's Preseason. I don't care about W or L. IT's about player evaluation.

QB: Meh
RB: Dowdle & Davis look good enough to take the #2/#3 spots. Carry 4 RBs?
WR: Tolbert. Anybody else playing?
TE: not much there
OL: Backups looking so-so to not good again.

DL: Mazi is a rookie. Still needs work. Sam Williams will be better
LB: Clark has shown good speed 2 weeks in a row. Overshown injury is worrisome
S: Bell made a couple of plays again the run
CB: better hope starters stay healthy. Bland got beat UGLY early in the game

K: Will be the weakest link all year IMO
the K is typically the highest scorer on a football team. It won't end well if ours is struggling.

Hasn’t Mike McCarthy said for three straight years, he places what happens in practice over what happens in PS games? These games mean zero except for guys on the bubble.

Lets not forget this is Pre-season. The primary goal of pre-season games is to evaluate and develop players, especially rookies. Winning is secondary to ensuring players gain experience, understand the playbook, and integrate into the team.
You draft a guy in the first round, he'd better be ready to contribute in some way. He's getting pushed around by guys who aren't starters, and in some cases, won't be on rosters. Jag city.
Like all rookies, he is adjusting to the speed and complexity of Pro-Football. It's not as easy as you may think.

To me, Mazi looks like a young player trying to break the habits he learned in college. He was strictly a 2-Gapper and is being asked to do new things. It takes time folks…
it was just a flat out terrible pick...plain and simple
