It was a mistake to hire this HC. Jerry wanted someone who would fulfill his own needs, not the team's needs. There were other good coaches available that Jerry didn't even want to interview.

Dak is a above average QB, not a elite QB. 40M is crazy talk if the org's goal is winning, if the goal is entertainment then Dak might be worth that 40M.

Might as well sign ET now since the makeup of the current team/coaches would need extreme luck to do anything great anyway.

This org is what it is. There's no need to be upset or let down. Jerry is selling first and trying to win SB's second. The first goal is always getting accomplished, the second one is not as important and therefore never really gets done, nor does it have to.

C'mon. Dak may not deserve 200M for 5 years, but he's not garbage. Zeke can be great, and Dak can be good. I put Dak solidly upper mid pack of the QBs. Maybe 10-12th. But this D and the special teams are bottom 3.

Dak Prescott, a QB that will never be as good as a passer as Romo according to people like you, is the all time franchise leader in 400 yard games. He is barely in his 5th season. Give it a rest.

Also has 4 INT returned for a TD in half a season and QC levels of futility of 100 yard games when not surrounded by talents like Cooper.. No team on the planet defended Romo like they do this joke, who took five years and multiple speedy WRs to recognize man coverage on the outside, because of the RG and Zeke.

you could see it today, where the Cowboys rushed four all day and dropped defenses in cover 2, zone.. Dak on the other day was chilling against one safety all day..
