This is a statement game that has been brewing for years and years. Cowboys win 23-20. Get your smack talk ready b/c by Monday, the Dallas Cowboys will be back on top of the NFL world after a 19 year hiatus.

To be honest, I'd rather lose this game, and win against them in the playoffs.

Similar to that Cowboys Patriots game from 2007, when we did enough right to show that we could put a dent in that armor. And if we saw them again we could make some adjustments.

Winning a game like this would be nice though. This whole season so far is like washing your hands of the past 5 years.. A win here would give us a chance at HFA if the cards fell that way. But if you told me I get to pick 1 win against this team, I'm going to take the one in January. I don't see us beating Seattle twice in one season just like it was asking a lot for us to beat the Giants 3 times in one season.

The topic of this thread was about predictions, if I didn't have a prediction then I wouldn't have posted. Faith has got nothing to do with it, I don't believe that the Cowboys are on Seattle's level at this point. Could they win, sure they could, but I don't think that it's likely to happen based on what I've seen.

Something I noticed, or maybe I was seeing things, watching Seattle play the Commanders, the Commanders players looked much bigger than the Seahawks.

They are going to be sore when the Cowboys come to play. And, win or lose, they will be a lot sorer after the game.

So betting against yourself. Whatever guy. I fully understand how good Seahawks are, I also understand we come in as underdogs in this game. I also know Seahawks are beatable even at home. No easy task and I expect to see Cowboys very pumped up for this game. Only thing I take exception to is when a fan or whatever says Cowboys can't win there is no way Dallas can win. Yes there is they can win, it is not impossible

I didn't say that there is no way they can win, that would be illogical, my PREdiction is that they won't win this game. Everyone is wrong about predictions at some point. Either you're going to be wrong or I'm going to be wrong, that's why they're called predictions and not postdictions. I've said the Cowboys could win, but I don't think that it's likely to happen.

Nope, we haven't crossed that bridge yet. If Carson Palmer and if their star DE is still out, then I believe Dallas will win, but we'll just have to wait and see.

LOL @ you thinking Carson Palmer matters.

Washington isn't a very good football team but they are a physical football team and they definitely roughed up the game for Seattle in that game.

You can laugh if you that's what makes you feel better, but they are a better football team when he is their QB, as he is their best option.

If I did, then I may have mispoken, but when I predict the Cowboys to lose, I always say that they have a chance, as any team has a chance, but it is unlikely IMO, that the Cowboys will go up there and win that game.

Lol what a joke. So you expect to them to go undefeated the rest of the season? No? Then you're a crappy fan. Great logic there. Nobody wants them to lose but being objective doesn't mean you're not a fan

Then give some objective pros and cons. Not this I don't think so stuff. Being objective is alright, but state the reason why, that's all I was telling Wayne.

That is why they play the games.

I enjoy watching the games play out, but even though a team "can" win "any given sunday" it doesn't make it probable for them to do so. The Cowboys "could" win the Super Bowl, but it's highly unlikely that they will do so.

They've lost 1 home game in a 2 year span (I'm pretty sure) so that's why I don't think the Cowboys will win. Doesnt mean I want them to win, doesn't mean I'm rooting for them, but I think Dallas loses by a TD. If the game was in Dallas, I'd probably pick Dallas by a FG

Hey man all I am is a fan and backing my team. I understand who and where the Cowboys play this weekend would a loss be a shocker? NO, do I think they can win you bet I do.

Yeah but you hurt his feelings picking against the Cowboys.

What kind of fan are you?

Seahawks 27
Cowboys 13

For some on here, if you don't pick the Cowboys to win every game, or say that Tony Romo is better than Troy Aikman, or say that Dez Bryant is better than Calvin Johnson, then you're not a true fan. The No True Scotsman Fallacy is very prevalent on this board.

And that's all good, I'm not knocking you for your optimism, I'm still on the pessimistic side right now and for good reason. I've seen some good things from this team, but I'm not convinced yet and I need to see more before I take a nibble of that delicious cheese in front of me.
