They'll go to the game dressed up like the people that they're going to watch. How is that different than a Jar Jar Binks costume? It's not. It's the same. To walk into a place with an 88 uniform, like, "Hey, look at me, I'm CeeDee Lamb." No, you're not.
Here's one key difference: unlike the guy in the Jar Jar Binks costume, the guy in the #88 jersey still has a shot at being with a woman tonight.....

I have a large collection of vintage SW items including a couple screen used props that I display in a mancave museum in my basement. The rest of my house is the woman's. I would NEVER dress up at a convention and carry around a lightsaber hilt. Never understood that. It's similar to wearing another players jersey to me.

I enjoy the Cowboys. It's entertainment. But there is a limit. Let me explain.

If you're not on the team, it doesn't matter, like, when you care that much about something that's not you, it just doesn't make sense. If you care that much about Star Wars, you're a dork. Everyone calls you a dork. Why don't we call extreme fans Cowboys' dorks? They do the same crap as a Star Wars dork.

You're somebody who gave up on life like 12 years ago, and now you're living vicariously through this dude who's richer than you and you're wearing his work clothes. That's weird.

That’s your opinion. I have many jerseys with names but that all started because my dad loved Emmitt and that was my first jersey. It’s more a tribute to my dad than the name on the back.

Those with Emmitt Smith jerseys are definitely NOT dorks. They just recognize excellence.

Why, you stuck-up half-witted scruffy-looking nerf herder!

For anyone thinking this post applies to them, simply reply, "Who's scruffy-looking???"

Mos Eisley CowboysZone. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.

I am an OT (Original Trilogy) fan, PTSD about the prequels (they sucked) and Disney's She-Wars (Jar Jar Abhrams) sucks worse IMO. So Star Wars is a dead franchise now. The people who own it have tried to do everything they can to ruin the old characters BUT I did get into collecting vintage memorabilia 30 years ago and I can say that is a much more lucrative hobby than being a Cowboys fan is. I still enjoy both hobbies and don't really care what anyone thinks. Made some good friends in both worlds, so if that makes me a dork, then so be it.

5 years ago got into the bourbon hobby and that is fun too but gotta be careful, it's expensive and can make you an alchie fast. With that + the Cowboys, I've had to cut that one back! LOL
Can't stand the Mary-Sue Sequel Trilogy...waste of talent and story. Well-acted, poorly written and scripted.

I’ll never surrender my jersey turn to the dark side. You’ve failed, your highness. I am a Jedi, like my father before me.

My father was actually a diehard Saints fan. Sue me, lol.

You can’t stop the change, any more than you can stop the suns from setting.
