An object cannot make you good or evil. The temptation of power, forbidden knowledge, even the desire to do good can lead some down that path. But only you can change yourself.
*Waves my hoof* You do not want to engage in this thread. This is not the thread you're looking for lol.Every time I walked away from something I wanted to forget, I told myself it was for a cause that I believed in. A cause that was worth it. Without that, we’re lost.
I see where you're going with this. But it's not the same thing, even though they are doing similar things. It's like one person eating a steak dinner, and the other eating a pile of steaming horse crap. Two people are eating, but it's very different.I enjoy the Cowboys. It's entertainment. But there is a limit. Let me explain.
If you're not on the team, it doesn't matter, like, when you care that much about something that's not you, it just doesn't make sense. If you care that much about Star Wars, you're a dork. Everyone calls you a dork. Why don't we call extreme fans Cowboys' dorks? They do the same crap as a Star Wars dork.
They'll go to the game dressed up like the people that they're going to watch. How is that different than a Jar Jar Binks costume? It's not. It's the same. To walk into a place with an 88 uniform, like, "Hey, look at me, I'm CeeDee Lamb." No, you're not. You're somebody who gave up on life like 12 years ago, and now you're living vicariously through this dude who's richer than you and you're wearing his work clothes. That's weird.

People don't wear jerseys to pretend to be someone else. They wear them in support of such people, and to show their alliance. It represents a physical competition. Sport.
On the flip side, dressing up like Jar Jar Binks is an act at pretending to be that dopey alien. It has nothing to do with sport, competition, or support for any organization. Jerseys are also socially acceptable clothing on any given day. Dressing up like a foolish alien is only acceptable on October 31st.
Another major difference is that a jersey is just clothing. Dressing up as Jar Jar binks is called a costume. Calling them dorks is being kind.

I was going to mention that. But whether it is at a convention or Halloween, it's similar. Totally acceptable there, but is restricted to those events. Jerseys can be worn at any time, and worn to go just about anywhere.Or at a convention.

LOL, dressing up like a mascot and wanna be football player AS A MAN, really should NOT be socially acceptable either. It's lame and infantile, (effeminate i personally think), not unlike wearing a costume. Plus wearing another man's name on your back is about as laughable as it gets, support? LOL!! It means you want to be them or LOVE them. What man does that? Swifty level stuff.I was going to mention that. But whether it is at a convention or Halloween, it's similar. See? A kept man thinks freedom is having "issues". And a kept man also imagines he is free. You can't do jack without their say-so or approval. Kudos to you if that's what you want and love...and I'm glad it makes you happy...but a kept man can't see that it doesn't make ALL MEN happy...just like most women can't imagine a man happy without them. You have issues bro. See a doctor.
I’ll take football, Star Wars, my wife of 29 years, our children and grand children and continue to live free and happy!!!
Come over to the dark side......I enjoy the Cowboys. It's entertainment. But there is a limit. Let me explain.

Elite responseI find your lack of faith disturbing.
