How many years does it have to not work before you figure it out and try something new? How about a middle of the road approach where you go fill your biggest need with the best guy available and then sit back and hunt for bargains while waiting for the draft. At least you can feel like you improved at one spot while you watch your competition keep widening the gap and contemplate the comp picks you might get for all your guys that are fleeing the sinking ship, or should I say sunk.

We have to do something. We’re losing like 20 FA’s and you know the bozo’s will at minimum pick 3 offensive players come draft time. Can’t expect to play defense with 6th and 7th rounders.

Yes it is. This team does zero to improve from year to year. Hence why we haven't been to back to back playoffs since 2006 and 2007. It is always a step forward and then a few steps back. But don't worry, all the good players will be gone and we will stock up on bottom feeding spares and they and others on here will sell it as progress. Dallas is all about quantity over quality and blue light specials.

I remember fans on here clowning Philly in 2017 for going all out in free agency and a few trades. Saying they overpaid, yada yada. They parlayed those moves into a ring. It was worth it.

But keep enjoying the overall .500 mantra here.
