So the message all year has been “resilience “ and the solution is to cut Maher after last night?!

No. Stand by your guy and live out your message. If he absolutely craters again in SF— THEN you may need to have some competition brought in— but right now, I believe you rally around him, weather the storm, and work his butt off in practice to identify and fix the issue and his confidence level back.
You are conservative. I get it.

But this is the Playoffs. One and done. You don't get to decide you need a new kicker AFTER the 49er game.

I bring in a kicker this week to give him competition to kick off grass. If Maher can't beat a kicker off the street this week he has no business kicking against 49ers.

Spags said they had just re-soded the field and thier were seams where it was bare and uneven. He was struggling in warm ups even so idk. You just have to play out the had you have been dealt at this point.
Interesting. Tampa Bay kicker never had a chance to kick. So maybe the field was horrible.
