Dallas is just going to make the same mistake again. We are going to pay a RB among the highest at his position, when there clearly is no legitimate reason to do so. Teams can get by with a RB by committee approach if they build a solid OL and have a decent passing game.

I'd let Pollard walk and say goodbye to Zeke. Look for a good multipurpose vet at a reasonable price, invest in the mid rounds on a guy and give Williams a shot at a bigger role. He looked good in limited work.

I'd also let Schultz walk. For what we get from him he is nowhere near worth franchise tag level money. We need more OL, more DL, more CB and LB...and WR. Hopefully Jerry will fill one hole with a big FA signing which he has somewhat hinted at.

You mean davis right? I agree with what you're saying, in the end they're just lying to us, or they're really going to tag him!

Ooops, yes, Davis. I just think there are too many examples of teams losing a RB and having another step right up. You do not have to have a franchise back in today's NFL.

I am 100% good with this. If we think we are just gonna draft a guy that does what Pollard does.. we are only HOPING. That means we could let Pollard walk, draft a guy and not get anywhere near what Pollard brings to the table. Zeke is getting cut or taking a huge paycut, so the savings from Zeke just moves over to cash for Pollard. Its all good.

Is Tyron getting a reduction in pay, as it appears he is coming back. I wouldnt bring him back unless he restructures and takes a huge pay cut. Maybe incentive based for how many games he is actuve. We cant pay a guy that plays 6 games a year that kind of money.

Doesnt work that way.

Gotta have a top RB.

Teams have drafted RBs for decades.

Very few are top tier RBs.

I would like to keep Pollard around but for franchise tag numbers I would let him walk, especially coming off an injury. Love the player. Hate the move to keep him if this is the way we go.

Who is the Chiefs top tier RB? The Eagles? The Bills? The Rams last year?

It's a mistake...we will see in the end. I've seen this movie before. It doesn't end well.
