The problem is that we don't know what Broadus' definition of big news is. He was so vague (because he has know idea what he is talking about) in his post. Anything the Cowboys announce in the next week Broadus will claim as his big news so it looks like he actually knows what is going on in the organization.

Big to me is adding someone, not extending someone. Extending someone does clear money to add someone though
We need a starter at G, WR and CB. Not likely you get all 3 in the draft so hopefully we use that money to fill one of those needs and WR seems like a place you could. Seems like several goid WR are gonna be available to trade for or get cut. Some won’t require 26 to get them which it would need to be a real elite player who’s young for me to part with 26
