I would think Romo has a say in this.
Schroders cat paradox! I love it. Football IS rocket science after all.It is not that. Someone said earlier that Romo being a big unknown was a problem. But it's also the key to not being second-guessed when/if things go wrong. Right now there is no evidence that Romo is a good/bad quarterback in 2016 and they want to keep it that way to limit the second guessing.
People afraid of injuring players disgust me.
I think they already know. If he can only play a game or two rather it be in the playoffs.I don't follow. What's the concern with being second-guessed? About what? Having Romo serve as the back-up QB? If he's no longer capable, shouldn't we find that out before it actually matters?
Very good pointCoach's plans > Fan's plans = 13-2
Something is working. Lol
Because those games mattered. This coming game is meaningless. If that's the case why would Sanchez have been inactive the last several weeks with Tony as the backup.

I don't really think the Cowboys are thinking of games for Tony at this time. I think they consider Dak the starter. Tony is the backup. No other playoff teams are worried about getting their backup in games. I don't even know the names of most of the other backups. Why would he only be able to play a game or two? He may be fragile, but it's not as though he's pushing up against some kind of limit on the amount of games he can play. As for his being fragile: again, I just don't think you can manage a team worrying about your players getting injured. If he's going to break the first time he takes a hit it won't do much good to save him for the playoffs. You'll have his services for 1-10 snaps. Not enough to get you through a game, let alone 3 games.
So dumb.

We don't know what kind of a QB Tony will be. He hasn't played in 2 years. If the Cowboys are depending on Tony to come to the rescue again I think they're going to be disappointed. Yea he's better than all the other backups if he's the same old Tony. I just don't understand talking about something that probably won't happen. Unless Dak gets hurt I doubt we'll see Tony.No other playoff team can realistically claim that they still have a shot at the Super Bowl if their starter goes down. The Cowboys can, provided that Romo is ready. That places a premium on ensuring he's ready. Live game action is the way to ensure he's ready.

No they're playing the QB that took them to a 13-3 record. And everyone laughed when I said they're afraid Tony would show out and cause problems/controversy.
Exactly what it is. They know they're playing the inferior QB as starter.

And this explains my previous thoughts perfectly as to why they don't want to play him to avoid second guessing. Some fans have already bought in before they even need to use the excuse...
