I'd do it for vet minimum plus incentives - This crusty vet used to be good, but now he's past his prime. I don't understand opportunity cost, so - in the hopes that this spare might flash some of his past greatness - I'll suggest we sign him to a contract that he and his agent would never accept even though it will cost the Cowboys a precious roster spot and the chance to develop a young player.
