12-5 and playoffs the 2nd time in a row. Playoff victory finally against Brady. Dak went for 300 yards and 5 TD's. Lead the #1 scoring offense in the NFL while he was the QB for the 3rd year in a row.

Dak and offense were shut down against the Niners and the #1 D in football. Pollard goes down and left with only the horrid zeke to run the ball and give the offense nothing. #1 D could now disrespect the run completely and focus on pass only.

Worst year for picks for him. bad year for that. Not typically a problem for Dak.

Yes, I agree with you, but we are not talking about the past. What happened in the past no longer matters. Goff can read defenses now, Dak can't. Which mean that Goff doesn't need McVay in his headset nor will the mic cutting at the 15 second mark matter anymore. Defense have not been able to trick Goff like in the past. This is Goff's 7th year, which is usually the start of a QB prime year. Goff is following in that trajectory. Isn't it ironic that Goff is better without McVay than with him?

The best "going into 2023" seems to imply that these are the top 10 quarterbacks expected to excel next season.

I think this is a pretty accurate assessment based on how they came out of 2022 in addition to whichever trajectory they seem to be following. That is, the talented younger ones will improve having added a year's experience while the older ones may be sliding slightly.

Obviously, Dak's trajectory is disturbing but it can change under the right circumstances.

With some additional tools I believe Lawrence can really climb to the top. He's got an arm and you can tell he loves to compete. Circumstances have forced him to take some risks which is why his stats may not impress compared to others. However, they said the same thing about Troy Aikman.

Hurts at six. He shouldn’t be in top ten. The Eagles oline would make Quincy Carter look good. Goff shouldn’t be in the ten hole, maybe the 15 hole. Dak should be in top ten. Anyone who can deal with the overwhelming criticism that comes with being the Cowboys QB, should be given consideration for the top ten. In addition to that, Dak is a solid quarterback who is better than three of the QBs on that list

If we had Goff, we are going to the NFCCG and potentially winning the SB. You think what Dak has to go through is worse than what Goff had to go through with the Rams? The Rams sent Goff to the worst franchise in the NFL, and Goff is turning the Lions from SOL to BNL. So much so, that both Jalen Ramsey and Tyreek Hill wants to play with Goff. One thing is clear, Goff would never slam his helmet down because our kicker missed 4 kicks in a row.

On the other hand, you think the Lions would win 9 games with Dak as QB when he can't even read defenses? The Lions had 1 good receiver in Amon-Ra, while Chark and Jamos did not play the entire season. Goff was throwing to Tom Kennedy, Stanley Berryhill, Kalif Raymond, Josh Reynolds, Quintez Cephus and other practice squad players and still putting up 40 burgers. The Lions might win 3 games at most with Dak, and I'm being generous here.

Dak used to be better than Goff, but that is no longer the case. Goff has improved on majority of his weaknesses this year and will only continue to improve.

Dak has a higher career QB rating, completion percentage, yards per attempt, TD/Int ratio, EPA/ play, win percentage etc…
