Collin is delusional. His points were horrible....you have to protect your quarterback is first point he makes...does anyone protect the qb better than Dallas? Isn't the Giants OK horrible and minimize any perceived weakness in Dallas's DL?
It is a Pick 'em game IN DALLAS. That is not an insult, rookie qb or not.
Yes, there are teams that protect better than Dallas.
Not our OLs fault we don't protect the QB better.
Sometimes it is. A lot of the times it's the rbs, sometimes it is Free, and other times blitz pickup just isn't handled well.
Somehow...I doubt it. I don't see other teams consistently give their qb 6-7 seconds to throw. Romo sometimes get too comfortable and eats sacks...last year wasn't even fair.Yes, there are teams that protect better than Dallas.

I will take them over any other line period.
They aren't perfect.. Troy took shots too.
But Dallas has some old school offensive passing that makes Romo have to hold the ball forever.
If Brady played here his career would be over by now.
It's a problem..There's no excuse for how they've handled the defensive end position, none.
When it blows up in their face, they have no right to be surprised, and the fans should give them no slack on it. It became priority number one the day they decided Greg Hardy wasn't worth the trouble. If you want to get rid of him, fine. But then, you're required to find a suitable replacement. And little to no effort was ever made.
And when they got news on Randy Gregory's continued issues - in February! - defensive end became priority number two as well. And when they got news about Lawrence's suspension in April - before the draft - it became priority number three as well.
But all of these circumstances were effectively ignored while the team arrogantly thought they had it all figured out.
And now that the season is here, you're down to three guys at defensive end, all of them conversions, and putting your strong side linebacker out there. That's how bad things truly are. There's not a more glaring indictment of how poorly this team's management has handled the position.
During the 2014 offseason, Elway paid for a free agent corner , safety, pass rusher, linebacker, and defensive tackle. Talib, Ward, Ware, Knighton, and Marshall cost Elway about 115 million. In 2013 denvers defensive ranking per PFF was 22nd. By 2015 it was numero uno.
The Giants are trying to copy that plan. It's not completed yet, but that's what they are attempting by adding a free agent corner, pass rusher, and DT. Next will be a safety and linebacker.
Dear Jerry, please copy Elways plan to the best of your ability. We have the DTs in place, just get us a DE, safety, corner, and one lb. We have the fourth lowest paid D line in the NFL, that needs to change to at least middle of the pack.
It's a problem..
but you can only fix things if there are answers out there.
No way would we take Bosa over Elliott..
look what happened..hold out and hammies..
So who else at DL do you take at #4?
Nobody..
So complain if you want but right now this team is going thru a much needed change from Romo to Prescott and Zeke.
Some of the rest will have to wait.
Plus we have real cap problems next year as well as now.
I would like Hardy back on another incentive deal with behavior clause attached to see if he can rehabbed anymore..
but probably too late for that..ship has sailed.

Today is the day and since this board doesn't have a badly needed pre-game chatter thread I'll just say it here. I don't want a lot of you guys jumping on the Dak bandwagon if he proves he's legit. You spewed your hate since the draft. There's no turning back now.
You can worry about what the media has to say. There seems to be a feminine obsession with that here. The truth is no comment in the history of sports media ever effected the outcome of a game. So it's meaningless to me. Good or bad, btw. What I'm focused on is this new era of Cowboys football we turn to today. If this the guy or do we need to draft another? We know Zeke's the guy. That dude craps excellence. But is our new QB the guy? I hope so. I really, really do.
