Looks like CP3 is stuck in New Orleans for this season.
I'm now even hearing rumblings that Howard will be in Orlando. Guess we'll see.

How does this help them sell the hornets to a buyer? The buyer KNOWS their best player is leaving and they are getting zero for him. Im just glad someone finally told the lakers no. :lmao:

I was listening to an interesting angle on this a little earlier. I think we all agree that this is stupid on behalf of the league. Nobody seems to get it but Buccigrass and Broussard brought up an interesting point. They said that the only way this makes sense, what the league is going with Paul, is if they intended to consolidate next year. If that's the case, then what they are doing is absolutely understandable. IDK but that's the only thing I see that kinda does make sense IMO.

Not a chance. He knows he can't win there therefore he needs and wants to get out of there.

Well I believe he wants to be a member of the Magic if they can get a star and contender, but they can't. They have no cap space or assets. As for CP3 he's stuck in New Orleans for now. I still expect him to wind up in L.A. playing alongside Dwight and Kobe. The Lakers will need to amnesty Artest next year and trade Gasol's contract if they do that they'll have enough to sign a max free agent like Paul.

Removing my Mavs loyalties for a moment...

As a fan of the game, I was really looking forward to seeing CP3 running with Kobe.

I honestly don't know if the Lakers would have been improved though.
Gasol and Odom were extremely valuable...and Bynum is going to get hurt again, count on it.

In the end, that exemption obtained via the Odom deal may help them get Howard though.

I hear you but that's the latest thing that I have heard our of Orlando. Who know's if it's actually true or not but this is what he is saying today. IDK

Just looking at Stein's tweets, that Nene deal is why the league is in the condition it's in financially. $67M over 5 years for Nene? Are you freaking kidding me!?

I predicted that contract and people here said there's no way that would happen. Some of it is not realizing how scarce free agent talent is, and some of it is not realizing how scarce Center talent is, and some of it is not realizing how good Nene is.

FYI, the Nets offered $64M over 4, and the Rockets were in a similar area.

I think that's a lot of it. Most people probably don't watch a lot of Nuggets basketball, but Nene is a stud.

And the Clips with CP3 and Griffin are going to be one of the most exciting teams in the NBA.
