I need help....been looking for a good Alaskan crab leg buffet in the DFW area I've been to the following

  • Joe's Crab Shack all you can eat crab legs on wednesdays - they discontinued this promotion about 1 year ago
  • Trulucks all you can eat stone crabs
  • Tokyo one and Osaka
  • Fish city grill all you can eat on tuesdays
  • Four seasons all you can eat brunch buffet

Help a brother out if you have a good place. I've even tried buying them and boiling them myself but I usually eat 15-20 (about 50-60 clusters) lbs myself and at 7.99-8.99lb it gets quite expensive

Unless you live on the coast, it's really hard to get decent Crab Legs, let alone all you can eat, IMO. My whole family loves Crab so when we have it, it's stupid expensive. It's better now then it used to be though. You can actually get decent Crab at Costco or Sam's or what have you. That's pretty much what we do. We buy a bunch of King Crab, buys good steaks and then I grill and my Wife boils up the Crab Legs. My girls don't even eat the Steak. They go right for the Crab Legs and just eat them as fast as they can. The Boys, they will eat the Steaks and then start in on the Crab. End of day, it's really good and every loves it.

Don't get me wrong, we don't do this often. We do this on special occasion usually but it's always a treat for us.

Come on up my neck of the woods here in the NE. I'll show you all the crab leg buffets one can dream of. Hot and cold legs. ;) (I've been to the Osaka in St. Augustine Fla. They rock)
Maryland crabs are good too. The meat is much sweeter.

I had one wife who would cook up those Alaskan king crabs about twice a month and Artichokes,, that's it crab and Artichokes,, she'd melt a bowl of garlic butter and whip up some hollandaise sauce,,, it was ALWAYS OUTTA SIGHT that nite!
I'd use my leatherman supertool on the legs for her ,and working your way down to the heart of the artichoke? One leaf at a time!
By the time we were finished dining, it was lights out,beddie- bye time:clap:

Yeah I'm looking for a nice medium unicorn steak, bone in of course, let me know if you find either this shy of working for the deadliest catch crew or Peter Pan....
