Why is crayton always getting air time? He's not even above average.

I have no idea... Maybe he is trying to get in good with ESPN so he can be a guest analyst one day and audtion for other networks.

Didnt know 3rd WR had so much media clout.

He's not even above average, but he is slow and plays small in big games.

I'm not sure how Crayton managed to become a regular on ESPN, his agent must be doing something right.

I can't think of another #3 WR in the whole league who gets any airtime. Like, at all, much less this much.

When's the last time you saw Wes Walker's analysis of the playoffs?

I think he and his agent made a concentrated effort to get stuff like this going for him. It began by his yapping whenever someone put a mic in front of him about two years ago, and now they know he's a guy that's willing to talk before, during and after a season. And he plays for the Cowboys.

Welker has made about zero effort to be known as a guy that talks, so he'll never be on ESPN.

Because he runs his mouth too much....will say things he shouldn't say.
Maybe he is the "source" of info they been spinning...not Witten.

I see dumb people

What is truly dumb is lamenting others speaking up about this not-ready-for-prime-time player who knows everything yet is among the most inconsistent players on the Cowboys' staff.

Just the other day he was describing T.O.'s relationships with players and coaches as "rocky" and holding forth on the team's chemistry.

Just shut up and play, Crayfish . . . oh, I forgot, you can't play. . . .

He'll talk to anybody, I'm sure.

Is it time for Wade to put a muzzle on this know-nothing?

Hey, maybe Crayfish would agree to spend a day yakking with us important people. I am sure some of us could give him tips on his routes.

Time to put a muzzle on the whole damn team.

. . . .

this is just plain stupid...is he a superstar player? No obviously he isnt. But does he run good routes, have excellent hands and oput up pretty good numbers for a 7th rd pick former QB converted WR? Yeah.

You can win with guys like him, I'm not sure why people continue to trash him out so much over one damn dropped ball. I can count on one hand how many passes this guy has dropped in his career, and other WR's who drop alot more you see almost no criticism of.

As far as the inconsistent stuff, thats also b/s. The guy is a good role player. he isnt inconsistent. When he's out there he gets open and makes plays. He'll never be the primary option here, but nobody else will either on a team with TO, Witten and Roy Williams. Not to mention the backs we have.

Crayton dropped 2 passes, muffed a punt, and quit his route on a potential game-winning TD, in the most important game of his life to that point. Following a week where he'd once again ran his mouth.

Most fans problem with Crayton I think isn't that he's a terrible player, but that he holds a lot higher opinion of himself than the reality of the player he is on the field.
