Double Trouble;2579804 said:Crayton dropped 2 passes, muffed a punt, and quit his route on a potential game-winning TD, in the most important game of his life to that point. Following a week where he'd once again ran his mouth.
Most fans problem with Crayton I think isn't that he's a terrible player, but that he holds a lot higher opinion of himself than the reality of the player he is on the field.

I mean, what in the world is going on in this thread?
dbair1967;2579976 said:nothing really...its like I said...people heard he was on and decided to start bashing him again
stasheroo;2579994 said:And if "Chatty Cathy" was 'on' yet again, I'm sure he wouldn't be getting bashed again.
As has been pointed out numerous times - and conveniently ignored - what other team's #3 receiver is blabbing on ESPN every other day?
Not too many I can think of.
stasheroo;2579994 said:Part of this team's problem is that too many players have the freedom to say whatever they want whenever they want.
And all the while Jones and Coach Cupcake preach change.
Yeah, sure looks like it.
Idgit;2580004 said:I don't know that I agree that the players need to be muzzled, but if you think they should be, you should have an issue with the coach and not with the player who's granting an interview.
Idgit;2580004 said:It gets conveniently ignored, b/c people who don't hate Crayton don't understand why it's relevant. What teams get the coverage the Cowboys do? What teams have outspoken personalities at 3rd WR? What possible difference does it make?

stasheroo;2580013 said:The difference is when the guy can 'talk the talk' but can't 'walk the walk'. It's not hard to figure out.
Yeah, all this yapping to ESPN has really been great for the team.
And in case you missed my sig picture, I do have an issue with the head coach.
Crayton's motivations aren't anything team-related but personal ones. He's doing this for his own interests, not the team's.
dbair1967;2580018 said:Why does Crayton getting some time on ESPN bother anybody? They like the guy and he likes them. He's probably posturing for life after football as well, and the more exposure he gets the more likely it is a network (perhaps even ESPN) will come calling.
dbair1967 said:You people just make too much out of nothing, over and over and over.
Idgit;2580026 said:Then this current rant is misplaced, since Crayton's not talking the talk right now. Save the spleen for training camp when Crayton says something deserving of this level of overreaction.
Idgit said:It's fine by me to have an issue with Wade. If you want to conflate that with a Crayton ***** session, we're all going to get confused about which situation you're overreacting to most fervently. I'd say stick to one and exhaust it, and then move on to the next.
MaineBoy;2579530 said:He's not even above average, but he is slow and plays small in big games.
stasheroo;2580033 said:Thanks for the advice but I'll think for myself. If I don't like something, I'll say I don't. And I don't like a mediocre receiver grabbing as much airtime as he can for his own interests helping ESPN dig dirt on my favorite team.
Again, save the advice.
Or skip the threads you don't feel are worthy.

You're the Anthony Spencer of the group. Out drunk, thinking your special, trying to keep the bar open and all you provide is meager production (aka 4.5 sacks in 2 years).
You studio gangsters, see i did dirt, i did work, so
Many *****es can vouch that, so since i got stripes
I got the right to rap about that, but *****es like you
I gotta hate ya, i'm tired of Suburbian *****es talkin about
They comin from projects
Idgit;2580053 said:Come on, stash. If you don't like Crayton--and now, apparently, me--sharing our opinions, you should stay away from sports opinion shows and sports message boards. Pat and I like to flap our gums and flex our keyboards way to much to keep quiet.
Idgit said:And get back to me when giving an interview matters as much as shaving a route or fumbling when you're sacked trying to make something happen. These are the real things that hurt your favorite team.
