iDK if you can say that. Dante from the Vikings is obv. However without throwing to Moss or Carter he hasn't been the same player.

throwing to raiders and dolphins receivers will do that to a person..

Culpepper's kinda long-winded. He shoulda copied James Cagney from White Heat and yelled, "Look at me Ma! Top of the World!!!"

A big explosion at the end would've been a nice touch too.

Culpepper didn't have alot to work with in Miami or Oakland, however he threw to the same people that his competitors did and his stats weren't any better than theirs were. McCown and Harrington have already accepted that they are career backups at best, Culpepper is just starting to.

After taking a long look at my career and my personal convictions, I have decided to begin early retirement from the NFL effective immediately.

Culpeper is better than a lot of these average Joe's filling out rosters around the NFL...

See, I don't think so. When you look at a player you have to look at the complete package. Culpepper was not well liked on any team he has been on. Considering football is a team sport, thats not a good thing. Even TO in San Fran and Philly, most of his teammates liked him. Really it was just the QBs that had issues. (don't blame them for the most part though)

That sucks. I think he was asking for too much. It's as simple as that why he isn't getting a shot at someone's roster.

This is a bit over the top on the melodrama if you ask me.

You have to be able to read a defense Culpepper.

Not just throw it up to Moss.

Haha, there were no spots on NFL rosters for me (at the price tag I set)

I guarantee you he'd be playing for somebody if he would take what he's worth at this point, which is the vet minimum.

You're absolutely right. He admitted in a previous article posted here that he was offered a backup position at the vet minimum and he turned it down.

Now, the lying SOB is trying to play the victim. His statement about not being allowed to wear a patch on his uniform to honor Gene Upshaw is just sickening.

Be a man, Dante. You made decisions in this process and nobody but you is accountable for your decisions. The rest of the world doesn't owe you a darn thing and they sure as heck don't have to play by your rules. What a simpering crybaby!

Agreed its not so easy to play QB when you don't have that guy to through to or Carter to check down to.
