It's pathetic! It's also pathetic that teams such as Chicago will not bring him in! How would you like to be a Bears fan? I think he would be a great fit with them and with Lovie. Oh well we will never know.

Maybe once he's cooled off he'll get a chance. But this isn't helping his cause. I don't believe he really wants to retire. Sour grapes. Sadly some of it may be true but who would want to deal with him esp now. Drauma is not in his interest.

At least we know that Culpepper can throw the deep ball.

Brad johnson sux n just because some cowboy fans think that he is better than dante its okay. Its not okay. any true cowboy fan will look to the 90 season when that Commander was our backup qb and we missed the playoffs because he could not complete a pass.

Actually, I think Culpepper can still play in this league with a decent offensive line in front of him. I wouldn't have him as a start, but I think he would get the job done in a pinch.

With many teams opening the season with nothing but question marks at the starting QB position, it is a little surprising he didn't get signed. He must have been asking for much more than his market value.

Something going on or his skills have really eroded. If he'll keep his mouth shut he might get an invite at some point.

I think part of the problem was him wanting too much money. If you are trying to prove yourself, you better take what you can get first, not make crazy contract demands.

I can't understand why this guy doesn't have a job in the NFL, he's better than a lot of QB's starting in the NFL right now. It really makes you think.

I'm surprised he couldn't get picked up. I thought since a lot of teams would be starting their draft picks or guys in waiting that he might be viewed as a viable "insurance" policy.

BS...this cat can play,when healthy.
No agent= Ill advised retirement.
He should get well and come back and he should get a job.
He's just hurt he didn't get a job this year...he'll be back.
