There is no point in following this team any longer. We already know what the results will be every year.

I'm not watching another game this year.
I hear you. I won't go that far, but will no longer be planning my Sundays around the Cowboys game. If they are on and I am home I will still watch them, but not going to rearrange things around the game time like I always have for decades. They are going to finish 2nd in the East, maybe get a wild card. Possibly win that wild card game but no chance they are advancing past that. Thats what we've got. I have no crystal ball here, lol- but we all know it to be true. Jerry keeps filling Jerry's World and selling merchandise like hot cakes - he wins no matter what. Just us fans lose.

You really beleive it’s all luck. Hell than I should be a GM. As per you logic it’s all luck.
No that's not really what I'm saying. There is a skill to being a GM, but the discernable differences between a "good" and "bad" GM mostly comes down to getting lucky.

I think our only hope at this point is to give Quinn a chance. Hopefully, he can instill an attitude with the offense similar to the defense. And of course, we have to do something at quarterback.
If we somehow lose to the chargers, I hope Jerry would make wholesale
changes at the bye week.
If we keep the status quo, I'll have to change my season record from 10-7 to 9-8.

I grew up watching the mid 90s teams and those players are long gone, replaced by losers. There's no fight in this team because they're like a bunch of rich kids. They have no desire to get over the hump because they have everything they need.

Yes, I am, and Jerry needs to understand how rare of a fan that I am for my time. I'll tell you this. A lot of fans my age are fans of players as opposed to teams.
You are a rarity.
Most Cowboys for life fans are old timers.
Jerry will probably get away with it because of his age,
But his offspring wont.

Until the fans quit spending money on this inferior product, we just perpetuate it.
I am nulled by it.

But moreso I feel sorry for Rusty-B-Horse and any of the other younger fans.
They have decades left, but have endured this quogmire so far.
A quogmire that produces forgettable chapers in Cowboys history featuring:
10 years of Garrett.
8 years of Prescott.
Etc etc

As Jimmy Johnson said : This team is run like a Country Club and not a Football Team.
The concern from the owner down to the players seems to more about money/brand than about winning.
I am sure a few player care, but not enough of them.
There seems to be no personal pride, no swagger.
Where are the Michael Irvin leaders on this team?
The GM has cared more about his comfort level with the HC , hiring weak, unqualified HCs since Jimmy left except the big Tuna.
This Franchise has been a disaster the last 28 years, and it because Jerry is constantly pumping sunshine instead of making winning the priority.
Their is no accountability from the GM on down.
What a sad state of affairs this once proud team has fallen to.

I know. I was just making the point that there's not much as fans we can do. Besides, even if Cowboys fans stopped going to games, opposing fans would turn up and line Jerry's pockets. He wins no matter what.
Like I said, fans can stop going. Season ticket holders stop buying tickets.

Let Jerry World be full of visitor's fans. Or we start seeing empty seats.

Stop buying merch. Stop going to anything sponsored by the Cowboys. Email their sponsors and tell them they are partnering with a loser and you won't buy their products.

I live 15 minutes from the stadium. I was planning on going to the Eagles game. Not anymore. Not while Jerry is still alive.

I'm done supporting this team. Just like Jerry is done with caring about winning.

The Patriots let Tom Brady set up an entire business at their facility lol

You people are such babies. The idea that anything Jerry did/has done, other than talent acquisition, mattered last night is preposterous.
Large swaths of the fanbase has the resilience of a wet paper bag.

It matters more than most fans realize and that's why the majority of Dallas fans blindly buy into the Kool Aid Jerry serves up every year. They don't realize their GM is like a kid playing a game he always wanted to play and he is endorsing a country club culture(mentality) among the team where the players have no accountability and as Jimmy Johnson said no 'Fear'. That doesn't even begin to touch the poor player evaluation when it comes to signing free agents and resigning their own 'We like our guy's' players. The whole thing is a mediocre mess because the team is run like a family business and not an NFL franchise
