The clapping is annoying, but accountability is the real issue here. They all talk about it, but they just keep making the same mistakes.

For instance They are being stubborn with Collins at RT IMO and the staff won't take accountability for that at all.
Stubborn has always been the hallmark of the Redball Express. He has ONE idea and if it does not work he continues to press the ONE idea. He has no ability to coach on game day. His sideline presence is indicative of a ball boy or a line crew, not a head coach. Do you remember when he would throw the red flag as if it were a football toss. What a grandiose loser!! He has no feel, no touch, no nuance. He is not strategic or tactical. His demeanor is more like a nice fan, cheering the good plays and patting the guys on the back for the bad. We are going nowhere with this man as our coach. He is treading water and answering yes to everything Jerruh asks him to do. He is and has always been a weak coach. In addition to his inability to manage the game, he gets out coached each and every half time. What ever works in the first half suddenly stops working in the second half because he is being outmaneuvered by coaches who adjust. A word he knows nothing about. Vanilla offense, vanilla defense.

Culture? Jerry sets it and therein lies the problem. Look I dislike like JG as the head coach as as much as anyone but he was hired partly because he would allow JG to have free reign over this organization. Think about who JG is? Buttoned up, systematic, disciplined. This team doesn't reflect that at all. On a side note JG is all the above but he's doesn't have the football smarts to be successful on this level. Now think about JJ he's of the cuff, partying, high profile, wants to be seen. This is more the culture of this team and will be until JJ or his son hires a coach with pedigree or a young coach and stay in the background so they can set the culture.

Every team that's winning has a TE that can get downfield, and get YAC. Witt is running like his shoes are one size smaller and a corn on toe is killing him.

That made me laugh, your're right though. I love Witten, but this offense could use a TE that can get down the seam in a hurry.

Honestly, I think these losses are needed. These guys were getting a little ahead of themselves. When Dak started appearing in all of these commercials, it kind of went against the attitude he had earlier where he was avoiding commercials because he wanted to focus on the game. The message is clear... if you don't stay focused in this league, you will get beat up.

And yes, I agree that the culture is bad. We just happen to have a great year every now and then to mask it up. Garrett knows how to create a great atmosphere in the locker room and everyone feels like they are brothers and all, but the problem is there is no accountability or fear for messing up. As soon as Switzer made that huge mistake, you could already feel the game slipping away. Switzer's right back on the field. Then, Tyrone Crawford had the ball right next to him on a fumble. If we get that fumble in the red zone, we win that game. Somehow he doesn't pull in a fumble right next to him. Dez Bryant is jogging routes at critical times in the game and ends up not being where he should be. Terrance Williams drops a ball that hits him right in his body at the end of the game. These guys have no fear of screwing up at key moments in the game.

After we lost, did Garrett even look mad or did he walk off the field with a smile? If there's no real accountability or pressure on the HC and he doesn't really apply any accountability to his players, it's no surprise that we lose against tough teams. What's really sad to me is getting beat by a team we were blowing out and the HC doesn't look mad at all. What's doubly worse is Gurley calling the team out a week before the game and saying something along the lines of they were going to beat the cowboys up and him coming in our stadium and actually doing it. Did anyone want to step up and prove him wrong? I'm sorry, but that was an utterly embarrassing performance. Other fans are laughing at us and our HC can walk out with a smile.

Another huge problem is it looks like Dak isn't progressing. He doesn't look comfortable back there and he's starting to look exactly like Romo when Romo had to try to do everything himself, aka the only time our offense is effective is when Romo took it on himself to bust out of the stale offensive system and try to create something by doing a circus play. Now, Dak is doing the same thing. That's not a coincidence. It's the sign of a stale and ineffective offense. We were just able to cover it up last year because we had so much talent on the offense. You can only get by on talent for so long before coaching comes into the equation and you have to outscheme teams.

The offense stinks unless Dak is rolling out and throwing a bomb down the field, aka Romo. I'm sorry, but that's only going to work so much. The fact that the offense is only working when your QB is scrambling around is the sign of a predictable and ineffective offensive system. When was the last time you said, 'whoa, we really outschemed that team?' The fact that we have so much talent on the offense is what masks how ineffective the offensive system is. When our players can't be more physical than the other team and execute this super basic offense, then our offense stalls. The Houston Texans just laid 57 points on the Titans with a rookie qb and much less offensive talent. Why do we rarely ever have performances when we blow teams out when we have much more talent on that offensive side of the ball?

Out of Dak's last 4 touchdowns, how many have been improvised? That should tell you about the offense.

Yah. I don't think this is about culture, it's just about bad coaching, schemes, game plans, and adjustments.

When either we play much, much, less talented teams, or our players simply ball out beyond belief, we win. Otherwise, it's unlikely. And yes, last year we played a lot of totally outmatched teams and won, and also had a few crazy games where guys like Irving took over in GB.
