**Cundiff Waived as Predicted**Dixon and Suisham resigned

Billy needs to go. I cannot believe that he was making excuses for himself in his little diary blogs that was posted in here earlier last week, saying that he was 80% and that he was having a pretty good year.

The dude is worthless.

billy is a headcase now and his confidence is shot...

whats the problem with getting a kicker who may be a few yards shorter on the kickoffs but can nail a friggin 33 yard field goal...

We might need to teach how to block more than we need to sign a kicker.
The way Peppers kept getting to kicks was ridiculous.

and the pressure was coming up the middle.......this needs to be fixed .asap

Now after watching Cundiff, I am really starting to think this guy's problem is mental and a lack of confidence.

Hopefully we can get him a short field goal opportunity to boost his confidence...oh wait...he missed a 33 yarder...nevermind.

We have an empty roster spot. So there are 2 options:

1. Keep Cundiff for kickoffs and get somebody else for FG attempts

2. Deal with the shorter kickoffs and let Cundiff go.

I'm on board with #2. Then again, I don't see how Cundiff was allowed on the plane ride home. :D

No more unproven types, I want Morten Anderson in here. Yeah, he won't make the 52-yarder but he's money inside 40 yards and that's what this team needs right now.

Oh, I also want to see a cage match tomorrow night on WWE between Billy Cundiff and Larry Allen with special guest referee Key Johnson.

Might as well keep Cundiff for the last game. Who knows, maybe the season comes down to his foot. He can come through one final time when it really counts. But then again, maybe Jones will run the Rams out of the stadium by halftime. Its about time we started taking games over and just doing what we want. Course thats on the Oline.

Who knows, I say keep Cundiff, could you imagine Suisham ready to kick a game winner to send us to the playoffs. From sitting at home to that. No thanks. Give me someone whos been playing the last 4 weeks at least.
can u imagine the skins losing and we almost win the Rams game if it's not to Cundiff missing again lol

It's tomorrow, anxious to see if the author's gut feeling was anything more than gas.

On the front page of the DMN website it says the following:

The Cowboys have released kicker Billy Cundiff and have re-signed Shaun Suisham. Details to come.

Also, I just heard Mickey on the Ticket say the Cowboys have resigned Tony Dixon too.

*merged*

Edit: Says alot about Roy's injury that they'd resign Dixon.
