Wynn is a much younger option, but a much more expensive one as well. (about $10 million) million
He would be my pick, but I don't want to give up draft capital either. We have the money so that isn't any issue.

Time to use some of that cap money and make a trade. What the FO does with this will give you an indication on how they feel about winning.

Nope, the guys out there are older and broken down worse than Tyron.

Then you have to ask yourself:
  1. Is he your Tyron replacement and work out an extension?
  2. Is he just a rental?

Hello, Eric Fisher! Come on down, son!

Anything less would likely be no more than a bad joke!

The FO ignored the problem throughout offseason. It's time to pay the price!

I believe Fisher, Davenport or Solder remain massive upgrades over Ball at this point.
Who cares, we paid Dak to be great like Brady. If he can't play as well as the Bengals did last year we blew our money on him.

Jason Peters probably weighs 400lbs now. Nate Soldier was really bad with the Giants. Fisher want money and was not very good last year. Bite the bullet put Steele at left tackle, Martin at right tackle and have Smith/McGovern at the guards. Tyron should be fully healthy after the bye.

- Jason Peters ? ..A 38 something year old 330+ pounder that hasn't been in any offseason program this year, no camp, no mini, and he's an option ?

- Fisher? He hasn't been same since his achilles tear injury and he's probably has a higher than desired asking price
but he probably is the best vet option out there.

- Soldier was bad.. ! .Pats apparently knew what they were doing when they parted with him.
I'm not at all for moving Martin to RT anymore. We flat did not have anyone else at all available, outside rookie when we did that
and i think that's more of a strain on a 30+ age vet having him outside.

Plus did we hear that Martin wasn't for moving there again anymore ?

Fisher makes sense...it's an expensive get...but don't think you got much choice...

In all likelihood at this stage, there are probably no really good answers. Tough ask to bring in someone so late into camp and be fine at LT. That is a lot to ask. There is getting back into football shape, learning the system, learning to play next to a very green rookie at LG, etc.

I guess with all the unused cap space we have, I would probably look for one of those veterans not with a team. But just don't expect much. Count yourself very lucky if you get league average LT play. That is probably a stretch though.

The Cowboys aren’t looking for a starter, they are looking for a swing tackle. Additionally, they are adamant about giving their young players as many opportunities as they can in training camp. While they may not be the final answer by the start of the new season, there is no reason to bring a veteran in right now.

not now no way LT was weak spot for Steele you dont hurt two positions with all the switching go get a LT or TWO and let them work their way in. if it becomes an issue then you play musical chairs but NOT to start the season. a true LT is needed.

not sure what Wynn is like but if you can trade a player we are long on that might not make the cuts and trade him to NE for wynn..this might be the time.
