How is that funny?

Peyton is 8-1 with a 121.0 passer rating.
Brees is 7-2 with a 108.9 pr.
Rodgers is 5-3 (or is it 5-2?) with a 108.0 pr.
Brady is 7-2 with a 82.7 pr.
Rivers is 4-5 (in the best division in football) with a 105.9 pr.
Luck is 7-3 (and beat the Broncos, 49ers, Seahawks) with a 87.0 pr.
Wilson is 9-1 with a 101.8 pr.
Newton is 6-3 with a 88.3 pr.
Stafford is 6-3 with a 94.1 pr.

Romo has a QB rating of 98 for the season..........................that would put him 6th on this top 10 list....................correct?

I think people really want to know where Romo ranks. That is the reason for this thread, IMO. So I'll just put him at 16.

Lol, I assume you're doing that just because we're 5-5, mediocre? If you're going by that metric alone, then yes 16 sounds ... mediocre.

It wasn't based solely on QB rating. I also included team records, strength of division, and crucial wins.

If you look at it, it's not ranked in order of QB rating. Not even close.

and factoring in your Romo hate. So in reality he should be around #6

Yeah, I put him middle of the pack somewhere too. Maybe 15 or so. He is a .500 qb.

Which QB would you want going into the fourth quarter down by 10 points?

If we're talking who I would want on this team RIGHT NOW...

1. Aaron Rodgers (healthy)
2. Peyton Manning
3. Drew Brees
4. Tom Brady
5. Andrew Luck
6. Cam Newton
7. Matt Stafford
8. Russell Wilson
9. Alex Smith
10. Eli Manning (He'll throw jump balls to Dez all day without hesitation)

Throw all the stats out the window, Romo is not playing good football right now. Way too conservative, and way too inaccurate.

A post that contradicts itself. Gee. You are describing Alex Smith verbatim, yet somehow how he's in the top 10. Oh wait, must be the 9-0.

If you call Cam Newton a game manager you don't understand football and probably watch nothing but the Cowboys.

I find it interesting that nobody listed Bradford who was having an amazing season prior to his exit

Bored on the bye week. Sorry if I offend the Romo haters.

1- Peyton Manning
2- Andrew Rodgers
3- Drew Brees
4- Tom Brady
5- Andrew Luck
6- Tony Romo
7- Russel Wilson
8- Mathew Stafford
9- Phillip Rivers
10- Big Ben

Not a bad list and I might move Cam Newton in and Big Ben out, but Romo has been and remains a top 10 QB.
