If you call Cam Newton a game manager you don't understand football and probably watch nothing but the Cowboys.

Why is he ranked 18 in pass attempts behind the likes of Geno Smith(rookie) and Alex Smith(game manager).

Sorry, stafford should be in tier 3 along with maybe cutler too

Best quartersbacks overall at this point in their career not just this year:

Rodgers
P. Manning
Brees
Brady
Luck
Flacco
Kaepernick
Cutler
Stafford
Romo

Matt ryan Wilson rivers cam and dalton all honorable mention. Any of these guys could bump romo off that list. And they probably will soon.

Most prolific start to a career.

Game manager. WHAT?

We're talking about THIS YEAR. THIS YEAR he is considered a game manager, not by just me, but by a lot of analysts. Even Alex Smith has more pass attempts, *cough* game manager *cough*

Simple because I disagree with your inaccurate statement? Cam Newton is nothing special, he's an average NFL passer with great mobility. And no he hasn't had the most profilic start to a career, but keep believing that, lol.

Bored on the bye week. Sorry if I offend the Romo haters.

1- Peyton Manning
2- Andrew Rodgers
3- Drew Brees
4- Tom Brady
5- Andrew Luck
6- Tony Romo
7- Russel Wilson
8- Mathew Stafford
9- Phillip Rivers
10- Big Ben

That list is ridiculous. And there are no order, there are tiers, IMO. Hard to say Stafford is better than Romo all the time. Both have times were they look elite, and others where they are subpar. To me there is one elite tier, one great tier, and one good tier. The rest are average or worse.

**Edit** Just saw others suggested tiers as well. I was late to the party.

Elite Tier. Again no order. Manning, Rodgers, Brees, Brady.

Great tier: Romo, Stafford, Ryan, Flacco, Big Ben, Rivers

Good tier: Wilson, Luck, RGIII, Eli, Cutler

I'ved watched Brady quiet a bit this year, and he's been very inaccurate. Yes his inexperienced WRs have some to do with that, but he is missing throws he usually makes. Top 10? Maybe, but definitely not top 4.

As for Wilson/Newton those guys are basically game managers (nothing wrong that) and are protected by their coaches, running game, and stellar defense. I just think they're overrated is all. Also, if you think Romo can be inaccurate at times, you should watch some of Luck's recent games, talk about missing wide open WRs.

Not a bad list though, all those guys are still very good QBs.

Problem is media will forgive a non cowboys QB but delight in crucifying the cowboy player
