Yeah...and the Cowboys would still have to be the first team to recover an on sides kick this year AND get a TD. We should look at other options but this loss was far from being his fault.

If you think people are overreacting, the end of the 2018 season raised concerns about Maher. He went 5 for 8 in the last four weeks of the season, missing kicks from 34, 45 and 48 yards. In the postseason he went 1 for 2, missing from 58. So if you count the late portions of the regular season and this training camp start, Maher has just been OK.

It was obvious after last year we needed a new kicker. MANY of the extra points and short FG’s he made last year BARELY made. Also, I thought he was suppose to be good at the longer kicks. There is absolutely no excuse for missing both those kicks today. You could see this coming! How come the stupid organization could not see it coming!!!
Also, the 2 biggest weaknesses on this team besides kicker, are the defensive line and offensive line. Coaching, especially defensive is mediocre too!!!

Feeling nervous everytime when your kicker has a FG try shouldn't be a feeling that any NFL fan has about their kicker.
