Don't kid yourselves - JJ will make his displeasure well known if we miss out - he paid big bucks this offseason - he wants some playoff revenue....Bill will feel the heat.

Will he give him a BOTTOM LINE too?

Let's see:

Blame one of the greatest coaches of all time with 2 championship rings

or

Blame the O-Line, which consists of two nobody's and a past his prime guard

Hmmm....

You named 3 lineman what would naming the other 2 hurt ur arguement? Face this we are a hurt, inexperienced team that shouldnt go to the playoffs and as we wont do anything. Idk im getting pretty sick of the same old same old with Parcelles; Bledsoe, Vinny, Keyshawn, Glenn, Ryan Young, Eddie George, Marcellus Wiley, A-Train, Price, Fergy, a. glenn, Henry, Suisham, Cortez, Henson, Polite, are all the guys he picked up "non draft" how many of these guys are left? 7 out of 16 it speaks for its self he hasnt brought in many good players....

Listen - stop blaming the OL and Bledsoe and the lack of a Fullback....Simply blame the Head Coach and his staff of stooges...
They had 10 days for the Giants - 10! and they came up with horseXXXX on a stick folks....
Like that column said today....we are an enigma - we lead in Time of Possession and Plays run but are 29th in yardage...why? b/c Parcells is an idiot who runs the fake reverse dive 12 times a game for an avg of 2.3 ....An IDIOT!!

Here's the bottom line folks - Parcells lovers/backers/spin doctors included - we must do the one thing our QB does well - throw the downfield for big chunks at a time.

Now don't tell me about the OL or Max Protect - blah blah blah...YOU CAN USE A SHOTGUN ...you can use a Waggle right ala Mark Rypein - Joe Thiesman, Kurt Warner ...Do not make helpless excuses....

Here's the bottom BOTTOMLINE - We don't make the post season after going 7-3 PARCELLS AND CO. SHOULD BE SWEPT OUT the door with a swift kick in the arse...

I'm sorry... do I know you?

Bottom line is: You shouldn't tell people on an Internet message board what to do.

Do you really think we'll all listen to you? Hmmmmmh? I don't think so.

Bottom line is: Parcells is a good coach and we should all be damm glad to have him.

I mean really... would you rather have Campo back? Norv? Mooch?

Bottom line is: If we had a better OL and OL coach we wouldn't be reading you gripe incessantly about Parcells.

One more little thingy... if you don't give a rat's ___ what we think... why post your drivel here?

Bottom line is: I think many could do without it.

As soon as I see Parcells miss a block or throw an interception, miss the hole on a run, drop a pass, or miss a tackle, or fumble the ball...I'm right there with ya buddy!!!!

When are people going to learn...it aint the play that's called...it's the players that can't exicute it properly.

I will agree to this premise:
All teams have weaknesses but good coaching (schemes and playcalling) can hide that.
we KNEW that we wouldn't be able to block NY's DEs. WE KNEW THAT. Yet we had no plan to counter that weakness. No shotgun, no rollouts, no tricks....just continued to bang our heads against the wall hoping that we'll eventually catch them getting bored dominating our OL and give us a TD.
Maybe what BP said about scheme being overrated and execution being underrated is true....but maybe better coaching would help up execute better. I mean, did we really honestly, truly believe that Pettiti could block Strahan or that Tucker could block the other guy? Did we really think that?!? Are we ********?

The other thing is that in no way is BP immune to criticism just because he has two rings...none in this century. I'm not saying we should fire him or anything. He's done wonders for our team. I do get frustrated when we do things that are ******** and refuse to change things that need changing.

BP only deserved one ring... the other he got because the kicker missed... those poor Bills, they should have won the first one... poor Bills

Okay-would you prefer Mike Martz or Norv Turner then?

I'll take Big Bill ANY day over any of these previous bone-headed coaches in the post-JJ era, Thank You.

The poster does bring up a good point though folks. I may not agree with everything the poster says, but the 'boys did have quite some time to prepare for the game.

Very interesting, I was just watching total access, and they broke down plays in the giant game, where Bledsoe held the ball way too long and on each one he had receivers open and failed to throw the ball on time. One was on the 3d and one, he had a receiver open for a 1st down but elected to go deeper in too double coverage. Once he had receivers open but held the ball for at least 5 seconds. There are OL problems, but when the QB can't make quick decisions, then it makes for bad situations

Frankly-with all the tricks these DC's have up their sleeves, they're almost always going to get SOME pressure on the QB-regardless of how good/bad the OL is.

IMHO-Drew was pressured more in that SD game than in the Giants game the other day-but somehow, he managed to make plays and light it up against SD, but did next to nil against the latter.

Tom Jackson summed it up beautifully-the Dallas D CONTAINED Eli, but Drew failed to make plays he SHOULD have.

So then at what point does NJ Cowboy's statement become true? Does Parcells just get a free ride with everyone because he's a super bowl winning coach and smarter than everyone else?

This is his 3rd year. This is his team. Maybe he shouldn't be held to the standard of a Super Bowl win right now.... but he should field a playoff team. Teams get turned around in one year all the time. And if the team he inherited was so poor... then how did the hall of fame coach manage to get that team in the playoffs, but not the ones he has upgraded and hand picked?

No excuses should be acceptable if he can't get this team in the playoffs. Make cracks about Campo all you want. Campo missed the playoffs three years in a row, and this will be Parcells 2nd if he doesn't make it.

FWIW-Joe Gibbs and Bill Belichick are the only current coaches getting a pass-'cuz DC residents think the former is THEIR President over the last decade, and the latter worked miracles in Boston this decade.

Frankly-that first season where they went 10-6 was definitely a BAD thing. Face it-the talent on that team was CRAP. Over-achieving ain't a bad thing, but IF we had gone 6-10 instead that season, Parcells and Jones would have started the overhaul last year, and not this.

Who knows where we would be now if all the necessary changes were made THEN, and not NOW?

I love how easily it is forgotten that the worthless BP and Co. are the ones who made us a contender to begin with.

Oh wait, that's just BP living off the success of the team that Campo left him
