Kind of missing the guy who was doing it in camp.

Seeing that spencer, canty and newman didnt play tonight and the untimely penalties I have no worries from anything I saw.

Hopefully and probably by design we will see some press and blitzing from the defense come friday. I dont think they will be flat on friday and I dont think they are just going to play straight up like tonight again.

Why should we abandon it just because Newman is out?

Shouldn't we be giving it a trial run with the other corners in the preseason, rather than letting the Broncos have whatever they wanted?

That would seem to be the appropriate course to me. You don't change the titanium screws in a rocket ship to being made out of lasagna and then just launch the thing.

and I have another question. Howcome MIke Jenkins is not playing more? Scandrick is playing about 3 full quarters and on all the special teams units, why in the world is jenkins not doing this? I understand if they are just getting a read on oglesby, ball and pacman but I think jenkins should be playing more right now.

and also back to the original point you would think with henry and jenkins size you would think pressing would be a good thing.

You could tell by watching the game that this was the game plan.

Let's see how they do next week, if we see the same vanilla stuff then I'll complain, but I can wait till preseason game #3, which is the true test IMO.
