Honestly if we can somehow split some games and make it to the bye them being out could be favorable in the long run because it forces Jerry to find some reinforcements we already needed.

Time to bring back Tyrone Crawford. We should get him free since we were overpaying him all of those years. lol

Gregory played in the Super Bowl 8 months ago, if he's in shape sign him up.

Gregory doesn't want to play besides he would rather smoke weed and he probably isn't in football shape

10 "temporary" potential replacements for Parsons (and D-Law) includes Randy Gregory among candidates

With Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence suffering serious lower leg injuries (expected to miss several weeks each) against the Giants, plus having lost DE Sam Williams for the season while losing all of their other backup DEs to free agency, the Dallas Cowboys might need to consider looking outside the organization for help.

Here’s a list of players who are available in free agency, after Yannick Ngakoue signed with the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday.

  • Marquis Haynes
  • Shaq Lawson
  • Kemoko Turay
  • Austin Bryant
  • Randy Gregory
  • Rasheem Green
  • Shane Ray
  • Elerson Smith
  • Rasheem Green
  • Frank Clark
One name in particular is Randy Gregory, who was drafted by Dallas back in 2015. Gregory had been suspended multiple times for running afoul of the league’s marijuana policy before those bylaws were lifted. He was recently with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but was released after an extended unexcused absence from the team.

What say you?
This team needs to hit rock bottom and start over. Biggest reason Dak should NEVER have been resigned. Jerry Jones is a fool and so is anyone going along with his dumb decisions. Groundhog Day. Sigh.

I'd be more excited about signing Charles Haley than Randy Gregory.

Play the hand they have, nobody is going to come through the door and fix what is ailing his club. Way too many holes to plug on the 2024 houseboat! JJ had more than enough opportunities to plug a hole or two and with his "ALL IN" statement he stood pat because he probably saw what we're seeing now and that's a football team that just isn't very good.

Randy Gregory. Wow.......I wouldn't want Randy Gregory anywhere near this team. That bridge has been burned. In fact, I wouldn't sign him for $50 a game.

Jerry needs to bring in Randy Gregory if he's still in decent shape. He is 31 years old and not much wear-n-tear.

"By the end of the 2020 season Randy Gregory had become the second most impactful defensive lineman on the team. In ten games Gregory racked up 3.5 sacks, 16 QB pressures, 12 QB hits, and three forced fumbles while playing under 40 snaps in eight of the ten games he played in."

As a rotational piece, the Cowboys could possibly get better production from Randy Gregory than they could from whomever is currently available on the team.

Desperate times call for desperate measures. The Cowboys certainly are desperately needing help right now at DE. Such a move could help them salvage the season and make the playoffs, giving time got both Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence to heal properly and come back in 4 - 6 weeks. Making no move (staying with the status quo) could end this season and any playoff hopes.

Make the call to Randy Gregory, Jerry! To heck with what the fans think. Now is the time to put on your big boy GM pants and make the call to try to help this team salvage this season.

Randy Gregory (2020): Cowboys

Randy Gregory (2021): last season with Cowboys

Randy Gregory (2022): Broncos

Randy Gregory (2023): Broncos/49ers

Some of the same people that want Gregory are the ones who call Jerry a bad gm and criticize him. Think about that for a second

Not me. I always defend Jerry. At the same time, I'm all for giving Randy Gregory a call and bringing him in IF he is in decent shape and mentally is willing to come play.
