Depends on how long before the game he was tested. I don’t know when players are required to be tested or the other rules.
Yeah, that’s an unknown, so we can’t be sure. Still, it seems more likely that he contracted it at some point since the game, to me. Had he had it on Sunday, this news probably comes out before today (Sat) because he’s been tested a few times over the past 6 days (tested every day I think).

It appears he may have gotten it earlier this week, so Cowboys might be in clear. Some Falcons players were tested and will have results Sunday AM. This might be the first time an entire league is watching a pre-game final injury list from just one team. LOL.

Cowboys and Falcons games should be postponed tomorrow.
Falcons maybe, but for the Cowboys...

If he tested positive today but not last weekend then he got it this week.

If he had tested positive on Monday, then Cowboys players would have tested positive by now if they got it from him.

Falcons players on the other hand were with him right up until he tested positive.

IIRC players are tested every Saturday. So hopefully he has contracted it through the week somehow.

Hope he gets well soon.

No, it takes 2-14 days for symptoms to reveal themselves.

Take the incubation period into account, median time is 4-5 days and up to two weeks. It seems unlikely that he got it right after the Dallas game then tested positive five days later......possible but I wouldn’t bank on that. He may have contracted the virus last week while not contagious yet and it could also be a false positive.

This was inevitable and there will be more, baseball survived it with far more travel and games

If it takes a couple weeks to get it then he could have gotten it in Seattle. A lot of Cowboys players and coaches have said they had It so you’ve got to think after week 2 cases will show up. I don’t believe that 0 cases with all those false positives to start the season. Obviously someone had it so I don’t believe all those were false unless they got it from the fans or from traveling.

If they are adhering to social distancing in the clubhouse they should be fine. Almost no transmission outside if that’s where they practice.

Hopefully the NFL will rule on the side of caution. This is exactly how a wide spread situation could occur.

Even when you have unlimited resources to throw at it daily medically and no reason for players to be around the general public the virus still finds a way into the "game". Not really sure how you can contain it without a bubble. NFL ain't cancelling games and paychecks unless they have a whole team go down.

Then they’ll risk losing the entire season.

NCAA has canceled and postponed games and life goes on playing as many games as possible.

We’ll see how NFL teams handle it if key players are infected and can’t play or decide to sit out.

This thread is ONLY about the Cowboys and the virus risk from from the Atlanta game.

Any politics, government, science, etc. debates should be done in the Coronavirus Zone.

There will be no more warnings on this!

Yeah I don't get it. With our luck he caught it from CeeDee Lamb.
What happens if we lost Dak, Zeke, Coop for example. Would we rather postpone the game.

It’s why the NCAA had put guidelines in requiring enough players available for each positions.

A lot depends on when he first showed signs of symptoms. Typical contact tracing is to backtrack 2-3 days prior to first symptoms. If he didn’t show symptoms until Thursday or Friday, with the amount of testing they do, the Cowboys could or should be in the clear.

For the Falcons, I would anticipate a number of quarantines are possible if he has been around teammates without a mask these last few days.

expanded short term iR and PS that how..

Pollard , Dalton, and we have a WR core that could lose AC for few weeks..they only have to be tested a few times until NEG a certain number and can come back as soon as they pass..
