Are you being sarcastic?

I for one think that we would use Hall in a way Atlanta could not. Hall has speed and a physical mentality he's not meant to be in zone coverage every play. With alittle more work I see him being a Al Harris type of CB (you know just the physical side of Al HArris) Just think with us playing man to man with T new and D hall we would'nt have to worry about puting ware or Ellis in coverage because we can just blitz all day lol jk. but I do think it will benifit our pass rush

I'd rather he went in another division.

While many of you may be under the illusion Hall has no skill what so ever, he is a young talented corner that would be teaming up with another young and talented CB behind a consistant pass rush.

He won't have to be spectacular to have a big impact on a team like that. The Giants defense is much better than the Falcons D.

I didn't really want him here, for the price he was asking anyway, but I would be much happier to see him in a Bills uniform or something.

I agree

On the Buc and Kincade show they mentioned that Deangalo Hall is just a few days away from becoming a Giant.....sucks huh? I was looking forward to having T New and D Hall shuting down WR together.
Sucks? I want to celebrate.

I for one am happy if it's true.

He can go to New York and be overpaid in addition to being overrated!

:jackpot:

Yeah and now T.O. can torch him twice a year instead of once every other year :lmao:

Their pass defense dominated our pass offense in the playoffs with a bunch of nobodies and fill ins at CB. Not really looking forward to them getting DeAngelo Hall.

DeAngelo Hall is "overrated" just like Leonard Davis was called "overrated" last year. Just because you think he's "overrated" (whatever that means) doesn't mean he's not a good football and has a world of physical potential.

TO owns Hall. Fine with me. Hall is an over rated loudmouth undisciplined show off.

I love how the rumors get thrown out earlier in the week. I bet those rumors about Dallas and Hall where started by the Atl to try and get the Giants to up there offer of draft picks.

Most the rumors you hear I bet are started by agents or teams to generate increase in compensation (money draft picks etc)

Just like this rumor now with the Giants.....it hasn't been reported anywhere so it's just a rumor....he's not going to the Giants or any team yet because there's still deals to be made.

My favorite rumor on Hall came from Nick Eatman of DC.com.

Eatman said:
In fact, the Falcons have called a few teams inquiring a trade, including the Cowboys.

The word is, the conversation didn’t even last long enough to see what it might cost to acquire him.

This is much the same sort of move years back when the Iggles signed Taylor in their secondary from the Dolphins to matchup with Michael Irvin.

It was very effective...Irvin was controlled and so was some of our offense when we played them.

I do not doubt for one second that the Jints are looking at Hall to be singled up with TO wherever possible in coming games.

And I'm not of the segment of the crowd which says just because Hall has been beaten a couple of matchups against TO, that is going to happen from here out.

That's like saying that because we beat the Jints twice last season, the third matchup should be a cakewalk.

No no no..

:nono2:

I'd also like to see him in the AFC somehow, but doesn't look good for that.

Eagles signed Troy Vincent from Miami.

They drafted Bobby Taylor.

The rest is just as flawed.

How quickly the Dallas rumors have died. It was only 2 days ago that Deangelo Hall was involved in trade rumors allowing Dallas to move up to 3rd in the draft. I guess I better go on a local radio show and report the Cowboys are closing the deal for Hall so the board is alive with that rumor again! :bang2:

Having a choice tween Hall and an Z. Thomas, I'll take Thomas--we don't need athletes, we need winners.

Good that is a good spot for his attitude.

Wait till he has a bad game in NY. The media will destroy him. He will become the poster boy of the team if they are losing. I bet eli hopes they sign him.

THis wont be the backwoods atlanta papers making snipes at him, it will be the NY media and in turn espn. So please sign him, and the first game where someones wr has a big game on him we will see how he responds.

Actually, the Dallas media will love him when him and Newman shutdown the Giants passing game this season in a division clinching game. :starspin

Another problem child. So when he gets the personnal fouls when he loses his cool that will be ok?

At least with the Gmen, T.O. can toy with him and piss him off.
