Funny how posters will pick a specific pass to make a point either way about Prescott. I have seen good throws and poor throws but I haven't seen either consistently enough to make a call yet.
This is probably the most interesting QB situation in the NFL, not regarding a rookie. Part of it is it is the Dallas Cowboys and the other part is how he got the job and kept it.
There are those in the NFL that want him to fail, be that 4th rounder that they had him slotted as because they don't want to be wrong. Those that say "can't we believe we got this wrong" seldom are smiling when they say that. And nobody, and I mean nobody had him higher than the 4th round.
So, do some of us also feel that way? Don't want Prescott to be the guy? Take every poor throw and turn that into his game?
My memory is still good enough to recall that line of QB's between Aikman and Romo and they lucked into Romo and they wanted Lynch and Cook before Prescott. Do any of us want this brain trust looking for the next franchise QB? I REALLY hope Dak is that guy because he's overcome adversity, challenges and shows natural leadership.
But, it is still too early for me to tell and I've watched him more than most here unless you're a Bulldog. And I have seen what I think he can be but I am just not sure about that until I see more.
