Anybody else tired of watching these games end like this with dak against the world and no help.

Anybody that can't realize that he gave all he had and it still wasn't enough please don't respond because you just don't get it.

He needs a power freaking running game like he had with Zeke in his prime and our front office refuses to give it to him the more we try and work around it the more we will fail.

We could have made Derrick Henry an offer he couldn't refuse and we would have won this game.

Being one-dimensional at the end of a game like that going against the eagles defense pinning their ears back and coming is no way to try and win.

Trying to pass on every down with 3 minutes left to go was an absolute coaching disgrace but it was done because there was no confidence in the running game.

I keep saying it we need a closer we need a guy that can finish that can make a defense play honest and respect the play action.

We got nothing but Dak out on an Island at the end of these games with no protection trying to pull off a miracle and it's not going to happen.

You're right in some sense but mostly they need another WR - or to find a way to get Cooks more involved.

Henry doesn't change anything.

What Henry changes is the fact they have to designate personnel to watch The run now they know he is just going to throw the ball and they cover our receivers.

If you that you could have run a couple plays too on that drive when we had 3 minutes left it would have made all the difference in the world.
Look how much difference it made when dak just ran the ball a couple times successfully

Why are we paying him like he is the "guy"...................??????
Do you know how many HB/WR you can buy with 40 million a year???

Because pappy the same idiot that is not getting him the power running game is the guy that paid him to do what he's not capable of doing even though he is giving it his all and doing his best.
Understand and admit this the man is trying his best he realizes the urgency he is sacrificing his body he is just not talented enough to raise the whole team without more help it doesn't matter if we pay him $150

Dak has to get his feet in there, that really hurt. There's a reason why QB's get paid 50M instead of 5M.

Make the play
I agree it would have been great if he could have made that play but it wasn't for lack of effort I watched the guy gets spun around like a top trying to run in a 250 lb running back that's made to run those kind of plays would have been nice to have doing it

No help?

The defense held the 2nd best offense in check.

Dak wasnt able to force a steady attack against one of the worst defenses and especially against a very bad secondary.

He didnt read blitzes and took unessesary sacks that cost us a lot of points.

Seriously other medicore QBs done much better than him against this eagles defense this season.

Some here say he had a great game. He didnt. He did not play good even for a bad NFL QB he is.

They dumbed this offensive playcalling so much down. One read if its not there run. And he still isnt able to establish something on a regular basis.

How many more good weapons do you want to suply him with ?

So no help ? New WR, new RB? Get off my lawn!

I get your point and would have looooved to see Derrick Henry in a Cowboys uniform, but that late in the game I'm just not sure that the Eagles would have adjusted their defense at all to account for Henry in the backfield. If anything they would be more than happy to give up 5 yards a pop in order to keep the clock winding down. Maybe the Cowboys would have been better off taking a more run heavy approach on that second to last drive, but it just comes down to if you are wanting to push all your chips in on that last drive or give yoruself time for a 2nd if you get stopped.

I was yelling last April that we needed to get another RB...that Pollard was not a lead back. It's sort of like last year when Jerry got rid of Cooper for nothing and didn't even replace him. The real problem with this organization is our GM He's always behind the times. He reacts to what the team does. He's happy with the status quo.

No he doesn't.

They can't open holes against positive fronts, Henry doesn't change that.
Henry can pound the defense in a way that Pollard is unable to do.

When you're fully committed to pass rushing like the eagles were and you got a guy like Henry and run a draw play and he busted up the middle now you got a dedicate some personnel there and all of a sudden dak has more time

Spot on once again brother, but your 100% accurate post will fall on deaf ears around here. This place is infected with not too smart trolls who don't understand the game of football.

And if he got five yards a pop that would be fine for a few plays with 3 minutes to go because you needed to kill that clock down as you did not want the eagles to get the ball back with time to win

Nope. The draw plays aren't there. There's no space. Philly was maintaining lane integrity all night.

Pollard would be better at that anyway.

How can he need any more help? Our GM gave the stamp of approval that this team was so complete that it did not need any trade help. I don't want to hear about needing players as an excuse, our GM, who knows more about the game than any of us says his job was done before the trade deadline.
