Anybody else tired of watching these games end like this with dak against the world and no help.

Anybody that can't realize that he gave all he had and it still wasn't enough please don't respond because you just don't get it.

He needs a power freaking running game like he had with Zeke in his prime and our front office refuses to give it to him the more we try and work around it the more we will fail.

We could have made Derrick Henry an offer he couldn't refuse and we would have won this game.

Being one-dimensional at the end of a game like that going against the eagles defense pinning their ears back and coming is no way to try and win.

Trying to pass on every down with 3 minutes left to go was an absolute coaching disgrace but it was done because there was no confidence in the running game.

I keep saying it we need a closer we need a guy that can finish that can make a defense play honest and respect the play action.

We got nothing but Dak out on an Island at the end of these games with no protection trying to pull off a miracle and it's not going to happen.
I'm tired of Dak making all these promises that he will get better. How long is this process supposed to take before he actually gets better?

Spot on once again brother, but your 100% accurate post will fall on deaf ears around here. This place is infected with not too smart trolls who don't understand the game of football.
This is the truth I sometimes believe that many of these guys never played a lick of football in their lives.

There are some basic principles that hold true no matter what era it is and being able to pound the ball with the run game kill the clock impose your will and finish the game will never go out of style

How can he need any more help? Our GM gave the stamp of approval that this team was so complete that it did not need any trade help. I don't want to hear about needing players as an excuse, our GM, who knows more about the game than any of us says his job was done before the trade deadline.
We've been coming up short since the Romo days. We always find a way to lose in unforgettable fashion. Jerry is the constant.

dak is a loser, time to get rid of him and find a winner. Hes a good guy and tries hard but hes just not it - he will look great against 500 teams and plays well against the NFCE, but when the big teams come knocking he crumbles.

DAk is what he is and he is good as he's going to get that's why he needs help to finish these type of games.

These are the type of games that you have against playoff caliber teams and in the playoffs this is why you should build to beat these type of teams

I never played organized football....but I do know what it feels like to get NCAA-tackled.

But when I argued for Zeke or a pounding replacement I was "schooled" that this isn't the 90's any more.

Then I watched Henry last week....man wish we coulda nabbed him. Maybe someone next spring?

It's just talk. He has no intention of fulfilling any of the promises he makes each week, nor does it matter how pissed off he gets. He can't hang with the better teams of the league. He's proven this over and over.

And that is a very true statement unfortunately as rich and good a businessman as Jerry is he does just enough to keep us relevant but refuses to go buck wild shoot the works push all the chips into the table and get us over the top he is fully capable of doing it he just toys with us because he can

Why are we paying him like he is the "guy"...................??????
Do you know how many HB/WR you can buy with 40 million a year???

There are 64+ quarterbacks in the league and this 4th round drafted quarterback named Dak Prescott has managed to play himself into the top 10 out of 64+ quarterbacks the majority of his career. Do you realize how many 1st and 2nd round quarterbacks he's outplayed during that time who AREN'T in the top 10???

Dak got paid what he got paid, because the market dictated that according to his production at that time.

There are a few quarterbacks who are paid more than Dak and have a worse winning percentage and less playoff wins than Dak has. So what do you have to say about them??

(I bet that last question goes unanswered?

Other than Mahomes, Burrows and Lamar Jackson, what other max contract quarterbacks production are matching their contract numbers??? Especially the quarterbacks making MORE than Dak?? Care to explain this too??

(I bet this question goes unanswered as well)

Where is the damn weekly poll!?!...lol
Are we skipping it this week?
Maybe next week after Dallas beats a junior varsity team.
Probably won't get the 'Sounds from the Sidelines' video either.

Jalen Hurts seems to be doing well in the W-L column.
Kirk Cousins was playing lights out until injury.
Trevor Lawrence led Jacksonville to the longest win streak
of any team this year.

I see why it would be worth moving on but not so sure either. 40-50 million doesn't really buy that many great players tbh.

No help?

The defense held the 2nd best offense in check.

Dak wasnt able to force a steady attack against one of the worst defenses and especially against a very bad secondary.

He didnt read blitzes and took unessesary sacks that cost us a lot of points.

Seriously other medicore QBs done much better than him against this eagles defense this season.

Some here say he had a great game. He didnt. He did not play good even for a bad NFL QB he is.

They dumbed this offensive playcalling so much down. One read if its not there run. And he still isnt able to establish something on a regular basis.

How many more good weapons do you want to suply him with ?

So no help ? New WR, new RB? Get off my lawn!

The defense gave up 28 points. More than the Patriots, Jets, Bucs, and the Rams. Those lousy defenses we blew out gave up less points to the Eagirls than our supposed generational great defense.

28 is not the best you can expect from a great defense. But remember this was a great offense we went against. And it is enough to win the game. Our defense gave us 2 chances at the end to put points on the board. Instead of talking about how often Dak commanded game winning drives in the forth quater during his career they should have posted how often he had the chance to command one and failed.

So yes, our defense didnt play like the self-acclaimed doomsday one but they gave us more than one chance and for sure werent the reason we lost. We could have won. But only if your QB is able to beat a crappy college-level defense.

I remember two years ago how many people here bashed me when i said Hurts is much more talented than Dak and i would take him any day over Dak.

Now that guy took apart our defense and the guy in the best shape of his life wasnt able to match that against a beatdown eagles defense.

Jets only allowed 14 points and the Rams gave up only 23 to the Eagirls. You would think a so called Doomsday 3 defense would give up less points than the defenses that supposed lousy qb blew out.

You're right in some sense but mostly they need another WR - or to find a way to get Cooks more involved.

Henry doesn't change anything.
Seriously Bro, How do you come away with that point of view ? OK if Henry doesn't do it for ya, ok, But how are you going to say a more explosive run game is not beneficial?

This is not a post were I'm looking for a fight. I'm looking for a convo with a fellow fan, so please no flaming. My question is do you think the answer to a inept running game is

to get more passing options ????? From my standpoint we should have never Gotten rid of Zeke, but peoples passions were too inflamed. No Doubt we still had Zeke we walk out

of Philly with the Dub.

That's not what I said.

You should focus on improving the passing game because the run game isn't going to get better with any new RB, it is what it is. Make the passing game as devastating vertically as you can and the run game will have more opportunities.
