Make all the excuses you want But Mobinvans ain’t the guy "ain’t ? "

Mobinvans not the guy to win Us over that matter….he just "aint"..? Never was, never will be

So maybe Dak should reach out to Troy Aikman and ask him how he overcame a bad running game, an often injured OLine and a defense that could not stop the run.

I am sure with all of Troy's infinite wisdom he can mentor Dak to win a SB.

First of all, Romo was "surrounded by" 12 Pro Bowlers. He was #13.

Second of all, look at the 2006 Roster vs the 2007 Roster.
Nearly identical with 1 or 2 exceptions, the only real difference being Romo didn't become the starter until well into 2006 but was the starter for all of 2007.

And somehow, inexplicably, the team wins 13 games and has Pro Bowlers everywhere.

Coincidence? or Did Romo elevate the play of those around him? Honest question. The only thing that changed from the beginning of 06 to 07 was basically, Romo became the full time starter. Oh, and our coaching got significantly worse going from Parcells to Wade.

And yet, magically, Pro Bowlers galore start popping up all over the Cowboys roster. Somehow, while losing a Hall of Fame coach, a bunch of guys got significantly better between 2006 and 2007 and became "Pro Bowlers" out of nowhere. Amazing how that happened. Almost a "Hollywood" story, if I may be so bold.

Meanwhile, Dak has 2 likely or possible HOF players as staples on his o line his entire career (including at the vital LT position), and a plethora of top tier WR's, the leagues leading rusher for 2 of his first 3 seasons, and you act like he's been carrying scrubs. You've made Dak Scapegoats out of guys that would have been huge improvements over a lot of those Cowboys teams top skill players (anyone remember the year Laurent Robinson led us in TD receptions?)

Let me say it loud and clear--you're full of frigging crap and everyone here knows it. Take your bias and your agenda elsewhere, or deal with it being factually exposed.
Evil little Hermie...you're ultra sensitive, Romoloving, super-fragile feelings have been triggered. Potty big mouth you've got there for an elf! Santa is not going to like that. As for your story book, I would correct you and set you straight on some over-exagerrated fallacious points you made, but I'm afraid you will go off the deep end and try to burn down Santa's home and his elves' workshop. Heck, you might even try to overtake the Winter Warlock as the most evil and cruelest creature around here, so I will bite the bullet and let you have the last word while allowing you to believe this bullock of a story you just wrote you evil little elf!

Now go hug your Romo blow up doll and promise to become a better Dak supporter as one of your upcoming New Year's resolutions.

I always appreciate fans who have tunnel vision and cannot think of anything but blaming one guy.

Why is it when the pocket stays relatively clean he plays very well and is in the conversation for MVP?

Fix the line and don't have a spare like the guy who took Tyron's place last game, doing the Ole' blocks and getting Dak run over, and see how things change.

The scary part is our OLine is only getting worse. Tyron and Martin are only getting older. Biadasz is a free agent and Steele did not have a great bounce back year coming off his injury.

But let's spend almost all of money on skill positions and continue to patch up the trenches on both sides of the line of scrimmage.

Forgot to add, then blame it on Dak not being able to win a playoff game.

So, you claim there are all sorts of fallacies in my post yet you don't have the time to point out a single one of them.

Got it.

That pretty much says it all. Not that we didn't already know

Cool. Say hello to the guys down at the Dak doll factory.

Meanwhile it would be great if you could talk about today's cowboys as well but you spend a lot of time yapping about Romo every time Dak craps the bed. Wonder why that is?

Don't bother answering. We already know the answer. Plus you're super busy with all of your important duties and such :muttley:

Always everyone else's fault. Typical!
When is the last time you ever saw Dak under pressure and make a great throw while getting hit? We see other QBs around the league do it.
I thought there was a stat that had Dak is one of the highest rated QBs under pressure.

,,,, especially for this team. We've got a GM and head coach to which the entire universe revolves around the QB and passing game trying to win a championship with a fatally flawed QB shouldering 95% of the offense.

The bottom line is this: regardless of the media or fans, Jerry Jones will do whatever Jerry Jones wants to do with Dak's contract.

I like Dak and think he is a good QB, a great leader and a worthy ambassador for the Dallas Cowboy brand. I don't think he is a great or even a franchise altering QB. He is completed his 8th season in Dallas and the team, despite varying levels of success, have not made it to the NFC championship game. At some point, you have to ask yourself, what would the team do if not saddled with Dak's contract (or, his likely extension)? Maybe find a couple more quality pieces for the defense (pick any combination of DT3, DE, S, CB) and, perhaps, a few more toys for the offense?

I just can't help but feel that what we see now is as good as it gets -- a top 5 offense and defense, but no real playoff success. Sometimes, you have to shake things up to move forward.

Actually 23 would have gotten the job done

Defense held Miami to 10 points below their league leading average.

How in the hell are we blaming them??
I'm not saying they didn't but they also didn't do their job in that last possession. Offense did theirs.
