Dak and Zeke no respect. Wentz rookie of the week again?

They had over a minute left and only needed a field goal.

When did a turnover with 2 minutes left in the game become a bigger difference than one that straight up ended the game? Wentz chose to go for it all, tossed a ball where the receiver didn't really have the corner beat, and it was a game ending turnover.
If that happened to Dak he'd be getting bashed for it.

Same thing skinsscalper said - I truly didn't know (I rarely if ever watch that show). I still don't like him calling Dak out like that.
He does that. I guess maybe to not look like a homer. Hes made smart*** remarks before about them. I'm not saying he should gush over them like Irv but sometimes I think he does it on purpose.

fan voting. Dak and Elliot split votes by Cowboys fans and/or Cowboys hate.
This keeps being posted and has been answered a few times. It's obvious people post without reading the thread.

Dak couldn't have won because he wasn't nominated. Only Zeke was from the Cowboys. So they didn't split votes.

Bro this has been addressed several times in this thread Dak was not on the ballot at all. Apparently the NFL didn't consider his performance worthy. Only zeke was on the ballot. So wentz in a losing effort won the award over Zeke. No vote splitting

not really, Ryan Matthew's fumble was the difference. Wentz went for it all on that play, and threw an int, but at that point, the odds were stacked against them.
They had 1:38 left to get in field goal range. Wentz blew it.

And it was a good throw that ended up with his bum receiver getting out physicaled to the football. If Dez Bryant's the target on that play it's a catch.

They are desperately searching for anything to discredit Wentz. Just a few days ago someone threw out there that he can't handle the blitz. The stats show the exact opposite. He's nearly flawless against the blitz.

He's an all timer. Better than anything we have here.

You're right. Nobody can throw a better bubble screen than Wentz.

Terrible throw into double coverage behind his receiver.

Didn't know that. I knew I liked that dude.

I'll be glade when he takes over for Berman next year.

I bet Berman goes to FS1 although I think he would be a nice addition on NFL network. He probably wants to do more than just talk football though.

There is major East Coast bias and Cowboy hatred. Off topic: Trey Wingo of ESPN's NFL Live show tried to put the fate of the Cowboys vs Packers game squarely on Dak. He walked towards the camera, spelling out Dak's full government name, saying this game is on him (while pointing his fingers at the camera), as if he was trying to put pressure on him. Why not do that to Wentz? I just shook my head when I saw the end of that segment.

So to see love being shown to Wentz and not Dak is not surprising to me in the least.
You realize Wingo is a Cowboys fan?

That is not double coverage. Safety wasn't close until it was way too late. Wentz through up a 50/50 ball. Physical receivers grab that one...or it at least falls incomplete.

There was not much a physical receiver would have done there. I don't know exactly what you guys are watching. It was a slightly underthrown ball into tight coverage. That pass needed to be placed directly in front of the receiver, it was above his head when he was facing the end zone, it wasn't a jump ball.

It was a poor throw into tight coverage.

Wrong. That is double coverage. You don't understand what make something double coverage. The safety is why Wentz couldn't lead the receiver to the inside like he would have if the safety wasn't there. Instead he threw the ball behind the receiver and it resulted in an easy interception. That was not a 50/50 ball. His own coach even said Wentz made the wrong read and the open guy by design was Jordan Mathews underneath. Even Wentz acknowledges he made the wrong read.

Look at his/her posting history, that'll answer your question
