All he can do is play the games on the schedule at this point.

In preseason he was awesome, people said it's only preseason.
The first two weeks he's played very well, people will say it's only been 2 games and just 1 win.

It is what it is. The guy can win in this league. It's just to be determined how high the ceiling is for him.
I'll tell you the ceiling... Multiple Super Bowls and an NFL icon. It is plain as day how awesome Dak is. Some people, myself included, knew this before he was drafted by Dallas.

One thing I love about Dak so far besides the big obvious stuff is how quickly he seems to recognize when he needs to throw the ball away, slide, etc.

He's not playing like a rookie, that's for sure.

Just looking at his 4 years at Miss State showed how well he advanced at protecting the football.
he just kept getting better.
His last year was 29 TDs and only 5 ints.

Very few NFL rookies have had the benefit of 4 years of starting in the SEC. The conference is so good, few QB even start more than a year or two. Four years is huge.

I'm the biggest Romo fan in the world, but even after all these years Tony has a hard time throwing the ball away and knowing when to give up. Granted, it's resulted in some crazy big plays that wouldn't have happened if he did give up, but still.

It's just fun to see Dak have the poise and awareness of a guy who hasn't only played 2 NFL games. I don't follow college football so I had no idea what to expect from him.

He needs to get better feeling pressure and moving within the pocket while still keeping his eyes downfield. But the guy looks legit. I'd ride with him. He seems to have the perfect demeanor to lead this group.

How about that spin around in the grasp and threw it at the feet of Morris??

Awesome stuff. Too bad they called in the grasp! It was strong though!

Now that we have our qb, we can build our defense.

True but I think we could use another stud WR. I know we need pressure from our D, can't wait to see if D-Law and Gregory can provide that. MLB looks to be a weak area as well.

I was thinking the other day that Parcells would have loved him, for the reasons you stated. Big Bill was all about that stuff. Of course, he would never admit it publicly.

Most father's brag about their kids. Dak could be my son if I was 6'3, athletic, and black. Even our President claims others may look like him. Alas, I am a 6' ft. white guy that loves Dak. Looked good in preseason. Believed coaching slowed him down in game 1 of his NFL career. Silly? Maybe. Probably. He just might work out.

Dak is half white and half black. So all of us can claim him. But it doesn't matter either way.
