Yes, the eye test says the TDs will come.
I have no doubt.
His yards per attempt is already up to 6.9.

But back to the question.
With 75 pass attemps after 2 games, has there ever been a player without a TD.
The comment was that he has the most attempts without a pick, so I just asked does he also have the most pass attempts without a TD. Logical followup question.
I wasn't specifically looking at that, but to answer your question, yes. As a rookie in the first two games, he has by far the most attempts without a TD.

Check out this insane fact!

If Dak can throw 8 more passes without an INT then he will be only the 2nd player in NFL history to throw his first career 83 passes without an INT.

The other is Tom Brady.

Correction, Jimmy Garropolo now at 84 passes without a career INT but it took him two seasons of mop up and the first two games of this season.

Attempts before first career INT:
Tom Brady 145
Jimmy Garropolo 84 and counting
Warren Moon 83
Stephen McGee 82
Troy Smith 79
Chad Hutchinson 79
Dak Prescott 75 and counting
Carson Wentz 37 and counting

So 9 more attempts without an INT and he is 2nd place so long as Garropolo doesnt play or throws an INT.

However, only one other rookie in NFL history started games 1 and 2, and threw at least 60 passes without an INT and that was 27 year old Warren Moon.

Correction
Warren Moon had 103 passes in his 1st 3 games without an interception ( he had 3 TDs to go with that)

Im not sure when his 1st pick came, but it wasnt until his 4th game. So probably >103 attempts

Of all the plays I saw today..DAKs pump fake down on the goal line to get the go ahead TD was just magnificent..

Froze the LBers coming up to tackle him and he easily scored.

No way Romo makes that play..no way.

This guy is just cool as cucumber and hard as rattlesnake to pin down.

Love it!!

Pretty sure the call on the delay of game was a QB draw all the way

Did like that play but to be fair I think Romo and Dez connect on some of those back shoulder fades

When he gets so much out of the offense, it certainly does inspire confidence. Beasley and Dez came to ball today.

His ceiling is very high. This is a guy who still hasn't mastered his craft and technique as a QB. He hasn't had enough experience to be able to read most NFL defenses but his mental make up is elite. All he has to do is perfect his craft and this guy will be elite.

"Dak appreciation thread" sounds like we traded him. We should call it "The Legend of Dak Prescott"

My expectations of Dak's ceiling must be higher than most of you guys, because I think he's just playing okay.

The fact that we had some terrible backups in here doesn't mean what Dak's doing right now is somehow light years ahead of where he can get to.

He's not turning the ball over, which is the only reason we have had a chance in both of the last games, but I think he can play even better.

Jimmy Johnson likes him alot, says he has a bright future.
Could be up for rookie of the year.
I liked Dak after the preseason games, and really thought he would be better than he has been, but still I am happy with the poise, coolness in pocket,
and no ints. The TD run I liked, would like to see him take off like that more, but slide always in the field.
He got his first rushing td, and first NFL win, so that will make him even better and more confident.

EE is looking like bust of the year so far.

Dak narrowly outperformed Wentz's game one today but Dak played an actual football team.

He can, but right now he has to be careful and please the coaches, do what the let him do.
Getting his first win today helps, now the coaches will believe in him more. So will the players, who were tired of losing.

They / he needs to win the next 2 games, Then the 2 big games come up, and if dak is 3-1 that will help him in those games.

My only complaint, and it's not even his fault, is I would like to him run more. Not Cam get killed run, just use his legs on designed runs ever so often.

Yeah, he needs to Wilson it to give the WR more time to get open and allowing him to throw the ball away.

After Dak,Witten is only proven Red zone threat but he is getting old and not getting any separation but Dak should throw it to him if he sees Witten one on one in the end zone even if he is tightly covered.
