Dak at it again

slap this on the wall of a corporation as an inspirational painting that everyone will ignore as they walk by to the restroom.

He's had other motivating speeches in the past like last season before the Eagles game in Big D where we got crushed and Dak had a great game as usual ...notice who many times he mentions Jerry....Kiss that @@@ Dak Kiss it well as only Jerry can save you now.....

I have serious doubts about his character after he rolled Dez under the Bus not Cool at all for a leader of a team.....in my eyes everything he does off the field is to insure his Job security as on the field hes doing his best to lose it....

Dak isn't the reason Dez is gone, Stephen Jones and JG were the driving force behind his departure.

Dak took the company line publicly as the leader of the team should.

SJ nor JG weren't missing him when he was open or throwing bad passes so yeah he is the reason.

His Rookie season won over the hearts of fans who’d given up on Romo leading us to the promise land.

And now since they’ve dug in on Dak they’re sticking by him until the bitter end.

Since Jerry doesn’t want to look the fool for booting Romo no one is safe as long as Dak is here.

This dysfunctional organization can’t overcome an average GM, HC and QB.

Dak isn't terrible but he's average and this team isn't good enough to win with an average QB.

I have no doubt he is of high character, or that he is working hard.

None of that changes the fact the guy just isn't a good player.

He just can't read defenses or anticipate guys coming open and I serious doubt he ever will. Seems like it is actually getting worse, not better.
You Crazy Dooms,, Dak is everything you would expect from a 4/5 rounder... 4th round pick 37.
Starter.. no
QB2.. over achiever

Dak Prescott PR agent is selling him again.....

What a crock of BS from this guy.....basic translation here as follows...........................Please please please Zeke,Martin, Cooper,Lee do whatever you can to save my JOB....PATHETIC!!!

Hey Dak didn't your PR guy tell you that no one follows a loser and a inept one at that.

Sounds ok, I guess, but that ain't processing information and getting the ball out quickly n accurately. Bottom line, #4 isn't a franchise QB, he's bordering on top-of-the-line QB2.

I said it before he says all the right stuff. Talks the talk then go out and plays small ball

sounds like jerry garbage....selling hope...

8 more games

more like 32.......

you know if Jerry fires Garrett, which is a good possibility, then he will ask the next coach to make Dak cornerstone of the offense and that he wants Dak to be the franchise QB....we will struggle with another coach and OC for a couple of years and then come to conclusion that Dak is not it and lets move on

Man do I agree and if he wasnt so likable then there wouldnt be this much debate over him. If you were to take all QB stats and take the name away fans wouldnt be picking Dak as a franchise QB. Is it all Dak's fault I dont think so but the state of the Cowboys is in a Mess and I think its more then just Dak. No way though would I extend him to a contract NO WAY. If they go in the direction of a New Head Coach I wouldnt come in unless Jerry assured me I got to pick my QB and Coaches. So I ask Now what Coach that is worth anything will come in and do what Jerry wants and use jerry's players. Not any coach of Value. Maybe Norv Turner thats about it.
if you look at quarterback ratings yes, but if you dig into the stats, you see a different picture....rolled up stats hide a lot of warts....

Exactly
But his comments I have no problem with
He’s trying to build unity and be a leader
I commend that
I just don’t think he has the talent for the job

He never even beat out Moore, he got hurt with an injury.
You are right.. makes it worse.

The guy has never had to compete for a job.. also from memory he got his college gig through injury too right?

What a dumpster fire.. he is utter trash and getting worse by the week. Sadly other orgs would have worked this out after his shocking second season.. but we are 'extending' him without pause.

Staggering.

Yeah! How pathetic of Dak to not throw in the towel, throw his arms up into the air and say, “I don’t belong in this league!!!”

That’s what a REAL man would do!!!

Garbage post.

You guys need to stop believing everything Jerry says publicly. What's he gonna say " my QB is trash?"

NAte Newton was saying the same thing on the radio a couple of hours ago. Jerry has his public comments but what he does or thinks can be totally different

It’s like anything else. If you tighten up your blinders enough you’ll see the narrow path. And once your personal agendas are in place with trenches dug there’s no turning back. Truth these days are in the eyes of the beholder.

I'm not sure exactly what you're suggesting here. Just so you're not misled in any way, I've never been in denial of Jerry's shortcomings as a GM, nor his being driven by an over-inflated ego that long ago had obviously run amuck.

Conversely, in Dak's case, like most fans that favored him formerly, it was his performance on the field that spoke for itself. Evidently, what he was behind the scenes was carefully and perhaps meticulously masked by media publicity.

If indeed, he intentionally betrayed his receivers, I think it was unbeknownst to many, if not most, fans until recently. Yet, the truth is still the truth, no matter what one might perceive it to be at some point as a fan. Be assured that once the truth comes out, there surely is such a thing as turning back.
