I have no doubt he is of high character, or that he is working hard.

If they go in the direction of a New Head Coach I wouldnt come in unless Jerry assured me I got to pick my QB and Coaches. So I ask Now what Coach that is worth anything will come in and do what Jerry wants and use jerry's players. Not any coach of Value. Maybe Norv Turner thats about it.

He was good as a rookie that was about it. Since teams figured him out he's been pretty awful for the most part. I'll agree Jason Garrett should be gone after this year but the problems with the Cowboys still are there with Dak Prescott at QB. He is just an adequate backup QB that's it.

I have serious doubts about his character after he rolled Dez under the Bus not Cool at all for a leader of a team.....in my eyes everything he does off the field is to insure his Job security as on the field hes doing his best to lose it....

Troy did his best to set Jerry straight, although it doesn't pay to confuse him with the facts when his mind is already made up. Unfortunately, the Cowboys' organization is a hot mess that begins at the very top on down. It's an awful shame how the truth falls upon deaf ears at the Star.

Of course. It’s no surprise. Stephen said before the season begun Dak was playing for the size of his contract not his job.

Jerry is Dug In on Dak. He’s not going to admit he made a mistake booting Romo out and make every attempt like throwing away 1st round picks to prop Dak up. It’s why Troy spoke out.

Yep, agree. Hear lots of comments about his 'character' but he has flat out flamed his WR via social media on several occassions. I remember the flippant " I guess I have to throw it at their facemask" comment after a dropped catch (which happens). Then the claim that WR weren't getting open. Then the casual indifference to the results.

The kid MIGHT have been humble when he came into the building as a fourth round pick who was 3rd on the depth chart.. then Romo goes down and he beats out Moore (hard job I know!) and suddenly he is being told he is the greatest QB of all time? then he gets told they are kicking Romo for him.. then he gets told that they are kicking romo forever for him... then he gets told they aren't even going to bring in a quality back up because they have 100000% faith he is franchise. He ain't humble anymore. He believes his own hype and sadly I think he still believes he can play QB in this league. Delusional.

I may have fuzzy memory but I don't recall Romo EVER throwing his WR's under the bus via a twitter flame...

That's the bottom-line for me.

I think some fans can't separate their fandom from the reality of what's being shown on the field. They want the team QB to be some hero of high character. Dak is seemingly that guy off the field which makes them want to root for him.

Outside of being a felon or an unreliable drug addict, I really don't care if an athlete visits kids in the hospital or strippers in the club.

My only concern is how they perform on the field.
