Who’s he going to sign with?
Does anybody care?

anybody know of any teams looking for a guy with Daks skills to pay $40 million dollars per year to?

man, he made $2m last year on this team and I can’t think of a reason he deserves a pay raise.
Unless the cowboys give him a pay raise,!I don’t think he is a starting QB next year. Where else could he start and who is looking for a $40m version of dak prescott???????

What the hell are you talking about? Dak is NEVER going to be a free agent. Jerry Jones will never let that happen. Pay attention to what Jerry has been saying. He has been very clear he will use the franchise tag on Dak before he ever becomes a free agent if they can't come to an agreement on a long term deal first. Furthermore, lose the $40M propaganda bit. It will not take that much to get him to re-sign. The price tag is much lower than that and its already been negotiated. They now need to agree on the length of the contract and then the deal will be done.

Well lets start with that right now Prescott is the #1 rated free agent in the entire NFL. Next dah he was on a rookie contract. Teams pay backup QB more than 2 mil a year. If you listen to the talking heads they say if the Cowboys used the non-exclusive franchise tag on him there are several teams that would try to get Prescott to sign their offer sheet and if the Cowboys declined then whatever team's offer sheet Prescott signed would be giving up TWO #1 draft picks. Lastly it doesn't make any difference if you're negotiating NFL contracts or buying a car the seller always starts at the top KNOWING that it's not going to be the final price. Prescott and his agent know that the Cowboys or any other team for that matter is going to pay Prescott 5 mil a year more than the highest paid QB right now even taking into consideration that the price on QB's goes up every year.

You Prescott hatred is coming through loud and clear.

To be honest, its not looking good for Dak. We were repeatedly told on CZ that he would be signed to a long term deal in early 2019. Never happened. Front office sweated his contract ala Garretts coaching staff.

One year later, he's coming off a mediocre season (we were told he'd excel in 2019) and his biggest cheerleader - Garrett - is gone.

We're days away from free agency and there's no sign of negotiations. I dont call Daks agent trying to negotiate with the Cowboys via the media as real negotiations.

We've a new HC, who has kept out of any debate re resigning Dak. It appears that the Front Office thinking right now is whether or not to bring him back for one year while searching for McCarthy's choice of QB.

Let me start by saying I am not Dak guy, please go look at all my past posts.. But you are delusional to think teams would not sign Dak.
If guys like Foles got 23 million, Goff & Wentz got 33 million. There would be teams lined up to sign Dak for 35 per year, I really believe that. I hate to admit it but Jerry should not have let Dak bet on himself.
The Cowboys have 80 million in cap space, there is no shortage in money to sign Dak, Cooper & Byron Jones.
From a fan's perspective we should not care what the team is paying Dak, as long as his cap number is friendly for the team. Give him a larger bonus up front, spread it out over 6 years like Dallas does for all their contracts and keep his cap number under 30 the first three years. I again want to state he is not a top 5 QB, but I don't know if that matters. He will be paid at that number and in 3 years hopefully the contract will be a bargain.
I don't wan to be like the Skins, where they paid Cousins an enormous sum of money on the franchise tag, then let him walk but they turn around and trade for Alex Smith and give him an enormous contract.

If the Cowboys really don't want to sign Dak, then just sign JAG and really try to revamp. I really don't think Rivers or Brady will take us to a SB.
