Dak compares to Blake Bortles?

Is there some real world similarities to the two of them? Both mobile QB's. Both considered somewhat inaccurate at times and prone to poor decisions. Both considered tough guys for the most part. Jacksonville appears to be looking hard at upgrading the position after handing Bortles the keys for 4 years. Just wondering what other folks think.

I haven't watched a lot of Bortles, but when I've seen him he's been a pretty bad QB. Dak struggled at the end of the year, if he had played like that the entire time I'd be thinking Bortles. But Dak has played for most of his short career at a much higher level than I've seen from Bortles. A lot depends on the team around them, so maybe there is more comparison there than I believe, but Bortles hasn't been on my radar for a Dak comparison to this point.

You haven’t missed much.

He’s been terrible to awful, with a few good games sprinkled in there. Ironically, his best season came when he had a dominant run game, elite defense and about 10 injured receivers lol

I don't think I've watched more than 2 Jag's games in 10 years. Used to watch McNair a bit. Dak reminds me of him in stature, accuracy and ability to run with the ball. McNair was pretty durarable too. Hey, I'd be happy with 31,000 passing yards and 5 trips to the playoffs

I love the old Air McNair Titans! McNair, George, Dyson, Wychek, Mathews, Kearse and one of my favorite corners of all time Samari Rolle!

Best QB comparison to Dak IMO Donovan McNabb imo. That's meant as a compliment, considering McNabb accomplished. Similar size, durable, nothing pretty or sexy about their game but they'll you Ws with feet, legs, decent arm and ball security.
I can see that. OF course Dak is a lot smarter and a much better person overall.
