Cooper Rush, the winner.
Dak, loser.
4-1How am not supposed to question your intellect? Seriously your post is trash
I know your trying to be cute but got damn man !
Blame the coaches. When the running game is working, you keep using it, especially in overtime. If Rush was out there, we would've ran the ball more like you should no matter who is at QB. We call the game differently when Dak is in and it didn't work this time.4-1

I'll revert to sesame street for you. "One of these things is better than the other, can you guess which one it is?"
why does Dak think he has to play up to the other better quarterbacks? why can't Dak just drive the bus, that is what got him the job, and why don't the other players play hard for Dak? Why can't they carry him?Blame the coaches. When the running game is working, you keep using it, especially in overtime. Romo was not better than Aikman.Be definitely was, if you understand what you're watching.
He was better than Aikman, but he wasn't in as perfect of a situation.
Dak could be really successful with his very own late night talk show. probably make more than what Jerry is paying him now.I know it's not all his fault but we've seen a multi-year pattern of Dak not winning big games.
He does great against average to bad teams but comes up short.
He get's paid $40 million to win those games and he almost always fails.
Dak is a great talker but his skills have diminished as far as becoming an above average QB.
That, or the QB salary shouldn't count against the cap if it's going to get that out of control. That may be a dumb idea, but if QB's are only going to be making more and more (and colleges don't seem to be producing QB's as much these days), then teams shouldn't be held handicap because they have to pay their QB what the market dictates. JMO.Owners do need to get a handle on this at some point though. An owner eventually has to say "Okay you're a good QB, but you're not THAT good. Hit the road, other players need to be paid"

This is recognition. You can still give blame all around. He was given 3 chances to get any points or sustain a long drive.
At 28-21, we ran 8 plays for 25 yards.
At 28-28 we ran 3 plays for 3 yards.
If he can get any type of drive going on either of those we likely win the game.
This has been the #1 problem for years. The defense cannot get off the field at critical times. Seen this for 20+ years. They stop teams all game, offense gets the lead, and suddenly the d can't stop anything. Defense could not hold a 14 point lead in the fourth. And of course could not stop them in OT. If Green Bay needed a TD, they would have gotten that too in OT. We do not have an elite defense. Never did. While Dak wasn’t great on Sunday, he put up 28 points and gave the team a 14 point lead going into the 4th quarter. The defense collapsed. All they had to do is not give up a TD on 4th and 7 and we win that game. Not giving up 200+ rushing yards would’ve helped too. LOL.
Funny Aikman said Romo was a better QB than he was, but heck what does Troy know but of course you know better than a 3 times SB HOF QB, Lmao.Romo was better than Aikman?
Not

He is the most overhyped QB in NFL historyI know it's not all his fault but we've seen a multi-year pattern of Dak not winning big games.

The other concerning trend in such games? Lousy run defense.
Dak is Dak, he's not going to magically transform into someone else. But for crying out loud, can we ever fix the run defense? How many years does it take?
Now there's a silly argument. Dig a little deeper than that, please.Romo was not better than Aikman.
Aikman played big in big games.
Thus, the Cowboys were able to win multiple playoff games in one season.
Romo led Cowboys teams were either one and done in the playoffs or they were able to win one Wild Card playoff game. They never advanced to the NFC Championship game.
Unfortunately if you lose enough of them it starts to play with your head and almost becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.I know it's not all his fault but we've seen a multi-year pattern of Dak not winning big games.

it’s almost like you think having a slightly above average quarterback with a 50 million cap hit is a bad thingNo crap. Doesn't change the fact he's going to be taking up 20% of the cap the next two seasons, so that's going to limit getting him the help he needs.
And it's not just Jerry's fault, it's all owners fault for allowing the QB market to get out of control like this.
