Significantly.
And yes I do.
Romo was a choke artist. Aikman was not. Aikman was a vastly superior QB to Romo.

Problem is, he's getting paid like he's on their level.

Truth!Romo was not better than Aikman.
Aikman played big in big games.
Thus, the Cowboys were able to win multiple playoff games in one season.
Romo led Cowboys teams were either one and done in the playoffs or they were able to win one Wild Card playoff game. They never advanced to the NFC Championship game.
Truth!
Agree to disagree. IMO Troy’s skill set was far advanced to Romo. I think we can agree both were far better than our current QB. To quote my dear deceased mom…you didn’t have yourself nothing! That’s the current situation with every QB on the Cowboy’s roster.I think Romo was better than Aikam. Aikman just didn't make the mistakes Romo or for that matter Dak makes in Big games. Aikman also had better coaches. Better leadership. And better drafting at that time. You put Romo or Dak with Jimmy and that staff? Things would probably be a lot different.

I've heard that narrative. I wonder how true it is. If true, I still blame the coaches for allowing that. Any player can be reigned in or even disciplined (benched) for repeated plays that harm the team.Maybe Dak is changing too many run plays to pass plays at the line of scrimmage whereas Rush is more often running the play that was called.
I know it's not all his fault but we've seen a multi-year pattern of Dak not winning big games.
He does great against average to bad teams but comes up short.
He get's paid $40 million to win those games and he almost always fails.
Dak is a great talker but his skills have diminished as far as becoming an above average QB.
Why is it that the Romo haters are Dak worshipers? Strange
Why did Troy say, "Romo is already better than him?"
I agree that his salary is out of line with his performance. My bigger issue though is regardless of his salary I don't want Dak as my QB. Dak doesn't have what it takes to consistently win against better than average teams. I think at this point the Cowboys and their fans have seen enough of Dak to know it's time to move on. Dak may still be good enough to start in the NFL, but he isn't good enough to start on an NFL team that wants to go deep in the playoffs and hope to win a Super Bowl.
Romo had to do EVERYTHING. Aikman just had to just perform a role.Romo was a choke artist. Aikman was not. Aikman was a vastly superior QB to Romo.
Dak is as pedestrian as it gets. Doesn't belong in this conversation at all.Dak has better numbers than all of the three-Fact! Romo had better numbers than Aikman-fact. Aikman got 3 rings. That's the difference. Dak gets 1 or 2...He'll be considered way better than Romo. Because Romo had none.
Numbers mean nothing, but if you want to do that, Dak is ranked 24th in the NFL right now.Aikman numbers are small compared to Romo and Dak's. Aikman just let the line and Emmitt take the thrust of the defense while Aikman threw when he had to. The last 2 Super Bowls Aikman was not even a problem for either defense. It was Emmitt and Brown. Again. The difference between the three? Aikman didn't make in game killer mistakes. And Aikman was a far better leader than both Romo or Dak. Aikman and Dak have far superior numbers than Aikman does as far as yards and Td's.

Numbers mean absolutely nothing.Numbers don't lie and he went further in the playoffs than Romo ever did. Sorry pal. Numbers don't lie... Or playoff wins. Keep dodging the facts. And I've always said Dak needs to get 100 percent better. But in the big picture he's gone and done more than Romo did. I deal with just the facts. Not my hate....

Romo would have been an outcast…..He hates the gymNumbers mean absolutely nothing.
With those teams, Romo wins 4 or 5 Super Bowls.
Aikman would be forgotten if he played on Romo's teams. He would be dead.
