Romo would have been an outcast…..He hates the gym :lmao2:
Actually, it's quite the opposite. Romo is a gym rat when it comes to actual practice, which was why he was Mr. Basketball in Wisconsin over Caron Butler, who said Romo could have absolutely played in the NBA.

Numbers mean nothing, but if you want to do that, Dak is ranked 24th in the NFL right now.

Statistical comparisons are dumb, especially across eras. They mean nothing.

Season isn't even halfway yet. Dallas record 5-3. He was playing better than Brady and Rodgers. Rodgers didn't do nothing but make the throws when needed. I was mad about the loss but what I was more mad at?? 3rd and 6..Rodgers gets out and scramble for a first down. 3rd and seven...Rodgers throws for a TD. 3rd and 6 right before halftime? Guy run for a long TD. These were all on Dak:facepalm: One guy isn't going to win a game or lose it unless in the final minutes. Team loss last week period. With more of it on the defense.IMO

Cooper Rush: 4-1 this season

Dak Prescott: probably about to be 2-3

There's your beloved numbers.

Those 2 INTs yesterday were not on Dak. Michael Irvin said and explained how not so. So did Greg Olson and a few other ex-receivers. Why are people stubbornly still putting those 2 INTs on Dak? Other than those 2 INTs, Dak played very good and led this Offense to 28 points at Green Bay, which would have been more points had our receivers stop running lazy and scared routes.
You listen to far too many others opinions AC, just start watching and trusting your own observations.
Do this and it will open your eyes to the obvious.

Every good quarterback gets paid, you don't have to be elite . I believe Watson has one of the biggest contracts in NFL history.... I don't see the whining and crying over him getting paid.

Its hilarious how people cry about quarterback money like Dak is the first to receive a contract. I guess some people haven't been watching football over the last couple of decades.
I heard plenty of peeps laughing at Cleveland over that bad contract.

Cooper Rush 0 and 5 if the defense plays like it is now. We'd of been blown out by GB Sunday. Rush could never of gotten 28 points. You do understand you have 2 sides of the ball-right?? If the defense was playing like it was then we'd of killed GB with 28 points. FACT!

Oh, NOW the Packers game was a "big game"?

Something tells me if we beat the Vikings, it won't count as a "big game."

Now there's a silly argument. Dig a little deeper than that, please.

Aikman played with perhaps the greatest rosters in NFL history. Romo played with nothing of the sort.

When the roster got picked away, Aikman was awful later in his career. He was a mess.

Romo took 5-11 rosters with horrible offensive lines and defenses into playoff contention and beyond multiple times. He had to take chances just to have a chance to win, which typically took well over 30 points to succeed.

By the time they finally improved the offensive line, Romo was broken and beaten.

The 2007 Cowboys had 13 pro bowl players and finished the regular season at 13-3.

Some of them went to Cabo during their playoff bye week.

And they went one and done in the playoffs.

Yea, some QB’s are.

I’m not sure though why we’d mention our QB in the company as those elite QB’s?
I was just trying to demonstrate that..some QB's seem capable of it...even when their team isn;t perfect. We ALL said Rodgers' team SUCKS this year. He's got nobody...the team hates him, etc etc.

And yet he engineered a huge 4th qtr comeback. With help from both our offense AND defense of course.

I know I'm preaching to you that sits in the choir. :)

Just giving some perspective to the drive bys.

He made one bad int that was actually on him, but he redeemed his bad play by giving us a 14 point lead.

The run defense was the problem yesterday, just like it has been all year. Maybe you should ask McCarthy to put Dak on the defensive line to help stop the opposing team's running game...

Atleast it would make better sense of people blaming Dak for what happens on the defense beyond his control. As a matter of fact.... what other quarterbacks in NFL history has been blamed for the defense getting abused like Dak does??

You CAN'T "redeem your bad play"...by citing something that came BEFORE it. You "REDEEM" your bad play/.behavior...by doing something AFTER your bad play.

Good lord....you must be very young...this is "participation trophy" philosophy.

"well he was good...then he was bad....but he redeemed himself because of that good part."

It's not how it works kid.

So...what are yiou saying?

That they lost BECAUSE "some went to cabo"?

We had supposedly the "best offense in the NFL" last year. How'd THAT work out for us?

No defense-No rings...Simple...We had a better defense-we might be undefeated now.

Aikman numbers are small compared to Romo and Dak's. Aikman just let the line and Emmitt take the thrust of the defense while Aikman threw when he had to. The last 2 Super Bowls Aikman was not even a problem for either defense. It was Emmitt and Brown. Again. The difference between the three? Aikman didn't make in game killer mistakes. And Aikman was a far better leader than both Romo or Dak. Aikman and Dak have far superior numbers than Aikman does as far as yards and Td's.
I’m not a big #s-stats guy. Troy had it. IMO…stats are for fantasy/Madden players.

I know it's not all his fault but we've seen a multi-year pattern of Dak not winning big games.
He does great against average to bad teams but comes up short.
He get's paid $40 million to win those games and he almost always fails.
Dak is a great talker but his skills have diminished as far as becoming an above average QB.
Just not true.

Yea, that’s what HOF caliber QB’s bring. Unfortunately we don’t have one.

Chill on the Troy hate

With that said, Tony at his worst was a better QB than Dak at his best
The hate for tony is....unfathomable. That guy..,....was one of the best of his time.....as undrafted...on the Dallas Cowboys? With what #1 WR and what #1 RB?

Murray was probably his best RB and ....fumbled away our hopes and dreams Yet it was tony that gets the blame.

These SAME guys....defend Dak as blameless.

It's unbelievable,.

I don't think anyone said Dak wasn't ONE of the problems. But to say he lost the game single handily is laughable. If I told you before the game that we score 28. You'd of been jumping for joy hollering victory.
