Lots of post here compare Dak to Manning, Brady, and paint Dak as an MVP front-runner. I like to share a different perspective.

Rodgers missing his top 3 receivers, 3 O-line man including David Bakhtiari, and his defensive coordinator--went into Arizona and beat the hottest team in football. That game is the definition of a QB doing more with less. That is a true MVP caliber QB and that someone who should be pay 40 millions a year.

Is that Dak? Can Dak do what Rodgers just did? Has Dak ever won against the best team in the league while being significantly undermanned? If we didn't have Lamb, Cooper, Gallup, missing 3 O-lineman, no Dan Quinn, and a running game that not as good as Zeke/Pollard, would we have beaten the Cardinals in their home? Rodgers has only thrown one pick this year, while Dak threw a pick against the lowly Giants.

Dak does "enough" for this team to win games because our roster is stack. He has only beaten the worst team in the league (Lions, Falcons, Giants, Eagles), without a running game in his entire career. He has not even beaten a single average team when the running game is absent.

Dak is not an MVP front-runner but he is in the conversation. Put any other top 10 QB on this team and they would do the same or better; Dalton is a backup, not a starter. Dak is not a top 5 QB but he is a fringe top 10 QB who look better thanks to the talent on this team and our division. I do think we have the #1 overall rosters with few flaw while having a decent amount of depth. Depth that team like the Rams, Cardinals, Bucs, Packers, and others don't have.

You are obviously clueless looking to cause dissenion among the forum.

why does rodgers get a pass for choking in nfc title games...post super bowl?
any other QB would get heat for that.
Other QB's do. Manning did his whole career. Rodgers is undeniably one of the best to play the game

If you think Rodgers won that game you weren't watching the same game I was. AJ Green lost that game. Rodgers looked terrible for most of the first quarter without his receivers. This is a weird thread.

Throw for 180 yards and fail 5 times at the goal line in a game winning situation? He didn't look that great and shouldn't. That win was on the defense and cards offense.

These are the 5 best quarterbacks in the NFL

Brady (Due to IQ)
Mahomes
Deshaun Watson
Rodgers
Wilson

These are the only “game-breaker” quarterbacks that can score a touchdown no matter what moment.

Do people watch these games? The gameplan GB came in with had more to do with GB winning than anything else. It was time consuming run plays, quick screens, and dump off screens. That, with the occasional downfield pass. That was not what we normally see from Green Bay. Granted, Rodgers didn't make any bad mistakes, and he executed that plan very well, but he wasn't playing hero ball either.

No time or patience to read any of the posts above me. Comparing Dak to Rogers is crazy and silly. We don't need him to be Rogers to win, and there is but one Rogers in the world, like him or hate him

A lot of good points. You started strong but you fatigued at the end. Prescott's fringe top 10 in the NFC East.

24 points hold your horses. Hopefully he doesn’t continually get in the playoffs and choke it all away like Rodgers does either.

Dak couldn't do what Rodgers did?

Sit on a bench watching a CB from his defense make a critical INT?

I beg to differ.

You mean Arizona was gifted the game by the ref right?

Arizona was gifted a game by Minnesota.

While Green Bay was gifted the game by Arizona.

I don't think refs were a factor. In fact, I saw many hold calls on both sides especially Green Bay. If anything, Green Bay was a recipient of gifts as always from the refs.

Rodgers is a lock for the HOF. He's currently 4th on the HOF QB Monitor rankings all time. Highest currently playing.

"Dak is lesser than all-time greats" is not a newsflash to anyone.

Do what?

Hold AZ to 21 points? Rodgers didn't do that. GB's defense did.
Pass for 184 yards? Pretty sure Dak can do that.
Hand off 31 times for over 150 yards rushing. Dak's done that too.

Some of you act like certain QBs have magic wands. GB won that game at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. They made Rodgers' job much easier.
You just explained basic football to a segment on this forum, that tend to believe quarterbacks win games on their own. Fact is it’s it takes good play in all three phases to win on a consistent level.

This type of crap needs to stop. Dak can't do anything without someone hating. Goodness, go cheer for another team? Just get the hell out of dodge! Aaron Rogers did not do anything special to win that game. Arizona lost the game by their on bad play.
